i feel the same way as you. the various artists that appear in your library speaks well of your open mind. i tend to think i'm limited to what i listen to.

Aye. Glastonbury is largely a "well I should do it once" situation. Plus Mr Matthew Exell is trying hard to talk me into it. He and t'wife have got a weekend pass from the grandparents so can leave their wee man at home and go one last time! You could share a tent with Victor?!

News just in this very evening. RON ASHETON DEAD. May he indeed rest in Stooges peace. Bollocks to Hendrix, Clapton, Page, Richards etc. Possibly the MOST influential guitarist in rock? First topic for the North South Divide 2009 postbag perhaps? NO we are NOT having a "messageboard". Write us a f*****g letter! I reviewed that Wyclef Jean album for a show Maconie did on Radio 5 in the mid/late 90s. It was shit then and it's shit now. The Wyclef Jean album that is. I think I did reviews 3 or 4 times. God knows. Although I do have the ROTs on cassette somewhere... Perhaps the next time we have a New Years Day "jam" I'll dig 'em out. THAT should get everybody off to bed just as the first crack of dawn's light is peaking out over the horizon. Deep joy.
