Always nice to find another James Booker fan :D

came across your shout about Ray Charles on Guitar Slim's "The things that I used to do". Always happy to link up with people with a serious knowledge of pop/jazz hitory.

Hello! It's a pleasure to meet you as well! Thank you for accepting my friend request! :)

Thank you :)

Ahhh.....leonard cohen.........fantastic writer..........i still have his original album....bought it in a book store in atlantic city.......1969

Thanks, you as well. I see we share a common fondness for jazz, classical, and indie, some of the more fine pleasures of life.

I like your story about Portishead and Beth's experience. Thanks for that bit of trivia.

That's definitely an unusual interpretation of Van's "Moondance". To each his own.

greetings fellow music pal :) nice to see mull historical society in your lists! i'll enjoy listening to your library as you seem as eclectic in tastes as me, plus you've got stuff i''ve not heard :)

I don't even remember now. I think I was thinking that what you said about that song was quite funny.

lee wiley "manhattan" - what was that? funny, little blip you said, yes.

this story that you wrote about the song of portishead 'undenied' - is it true???

just read what you wrote about Stardust and I feel the same way. what a great time for the underground music scene.
