Going to Hiroshima next weekend for a translation conference, and I've taken Monday off so I can go to the shrine at Itsukushima while I'm in the area.

I actually went and saw Tony in Malaysia where he's doing a BC project. Saw a bit of footy too though it wasn't up to FC Seoul standards.

To be fair Japan also has more than enough clowns of its own, so I'm not sure they can take any more.

Ha! I forgot I told you about that. But, no, everything has been fine on the footy front. Still kind of too hot here, but not so bad really - at least it isn't winter. Had a beer festival last weekend which was a chance to try a few different beers. Pretty good all round.

How're you doing? Into the humid part of the year here, so I've just been sweating buckets playing football in the gym.

The hotel ads seem to have gone. The most recent ad at the top of my screen is for "Jianhua Abattoir Equipment: Cow killing machinery, Sheep killing machinery, fowl killing machinery." I'll know where to get my abattoir equipment next time I'm in China.

I blame my confusion on the fact that some people started their Cool Biz a month early. A quick glance at the internet before I went out gave me the wrong impression... There was some talk of moving the clocks forward for summer time too (as an energy saving measure), but unfortunately it didn't happen. I don't really need sunlight before 5:00 am.

Holiday over all too quickly! My brain still seems to think it's on holiday this week. I thought no-tie season started in May rather than June, so spent Monday morning with my hand on my chin, so no-one would notice I wasn't wearing a tie. A brilliant scheme.
