I think the music tells you what a kind of person you are. It's like some part of you that can not pass as if nothing like that there are people who do not hear music I've met who tell me I do not care. But good music has much meaning for me because some have lived meaning at some point in my life and know those that take you to that point there. I believe that music connects people no matter where this one. The music is best;). Greetings Have a nice day;)

I'd personally go with Elvis Perkins and hope he played some tracks off of Ash Wednesday, his new album isn't nearly as good. I'm not really into the whole singer/songwriter thing, really but I will say Vanderslice generally puts some nice little electronic flourishes in his music. I prefer Jose Gonzalez to both of them, though. Heard the new Wilco album yet? (edited for gross grammar negligence)

You look identical to some dude I used to smoke a lot of pot with...except you listen to good music. Mice Parade are pretty 'meh.' The only reason I even bothered to add that was because Gainesville generally doesn't have many good shows, so even tolerable folk-indie acts are a bit of a surprise. You may like them seeing that you have Wilco and Elvis Perkins on your page. Also, check my page later today or something, I'm gonna try and post a 2009 list.

sounds like The Strokes in a non-Jet way Haha that made me laugh! I really hated Jet, but they have a song on the Spiderman 2 soundtrack, that really fits the scene it's played in. That song was ok. Otherwise, they remind me of a Crapper-Oasis.

Hey, I don't know that VU live thing. I used to have the live double cd's from 1969 with the girl's ass on the front. Man, I thought Sister Ray was long enough at 17 mins! Know exactly what you mean about that Roman Candle. It's not shit, but I loose interest a bit towards the end. 'Elliot Smith' 'XO' & 'Either/Or' are my faves. I've only heard 1 track from the new 'Magnetic Fields' album, but I l

You'd no doubt like Luna, it's Dean Wareham's post Galaxie 500 band. Not sure what to recommend you. Probably the 'Slide e.p.' where Ride into the Sun' comes from. Romantica is a pretty good album too!

Luna's version is beautiful. Have you heard the version from Velvet Underground's expanded 'Loaded'? It dosen't sound much like the regular version, but it has added lyrics. Luna's version is like the instrumental version, but with the lyrics! Perfecto. Throwing Muses also did a shit-hot version on their Firepile e.p. That's all my 'Ride into the Sun' info!!
