I love Can! oh yeahh! I "can" (haha) totally hear some inspiration of theirs in Warpaint's music. I actually hear a lot of other artists in Warpaint's music, and I think that's fucking awesome. Who cares, like you said, everyone gets inspired by something else and that's how art evolves. When I first heard "Krimson" by Warpaint I automatically thought of The Cure. Hey! Sorry for being nosey. I was just looking on the Electrelane page on noticed your post about Those Pockets Are People/The Partisan off the Singles, B-Sides & Live album. Coincidently enough (and on the CD notes) it was when I saw them live for the first time, it was recorded at The Scala in London 11/05/05. Although I do believe they made a mistake with the date as it was on the 10th I even have a really shitty video [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kl7yrlHqf0s]clip[/url] of Atom's Tomb that I took on my camera at the time to prove it! :) It was a really awesome show.
