What's so bad about 'Born to Die'? The lyrics aren't the greatest, I'll admit, but you can say that about most songs.

Ha, thought you were gong there. Couldn't disagree more. It's easily the best album of the year so far, in my opinion. Varied, yet consistent, catchy, yet odd. The production on it is fantastic. Backlash has become the new hype.

What other new stuff do you recommend? I've got about 600 songs from 2011, but about 450-500 of them are pretty mainstream Hip-Hop/Pop/R&B.

I help my buddy dj weddings and parties, and I'm constantly having to listen to pop music, so it's gotten hard for me to sit down and listen to an entire album. I'll get around to it, though.

I've only really given the new album two solid listens. I like it, but nothing's really had a chance to stick out yet. Is it a little Phil Collins-y, or is it just me?

I was close: $11.80 in tips. Most people get mugs, though I did pour a few Miller Light (ugh) pints. There are a few regulars, but one of them has a job again. i actually may end up seeing them. they're not ordinarily a band that i'd ever go see, but they're playing at my favorite venue, which has just reopened after being shut down for a couple years. maybe i'll try to get with the singer or something.

Thanks! It went relatively well. I got tripped up on two questions, but I think I represented myself well otherwise. My girlfriend was nervous, but she apparently did fine enough. There was a former member of the program at the embassy to talk to, and after talking to him, she felt better. We'll find out if we made it by April 10th. How's the new job working out?
