After first listening to it, my impression was that they sound like The Jonbonet if they were very experimental. Thought you might be intrigued.

yeah, I enjoy it now. solid ground is my favorite song on the cd so far. they went from a lot of tapping in trees and changed it up on you and me and the mountain. I love how much different they are from most artists these days, & they're all super nice guys.

I was bummed at first, hoping it was going to sound more like elephant shell, but after a bit I started to thoroughly enjoy it. bambi & favorite color are damn good tracks. seems like maps and atlases changed their sound up a bit, but the new one is pretty damn good as well. doesn't beat you and me and the mountain though.

took me a bit to get into the new tokyo police club, but it grew on me after a while. Bambi & Favorite color are some catchy tunes.

Uh, samesies. Lately I've been really digging that, O'Brother, The Kissaway Trail (I hear The Temper Trap meshed with a mix of the Shins and Of Montreal), A Hope For Home, and Les Sages. I don't know if it's a good thing but I Am Abomination has been a bit of a guilty pleasure lately, too.

I think you should really check you this girl named Lissie, she's a pretty dark acoustic folk singer with a fucking amazing voice. Also I found this band call A Hope for Home that I think you might dig. I think their album Realis is really fucking solid. To me it sounds like a mesh of Botch, Thrice-Fire, and As Cities Burn's first album. They're may be more suitable comparisons but those are the first to come to mind.

Dude, I'm hopelessly addicted to the the new Deftones! I wasn't expecting it to be that good.

I haven't really heard any of Maps & Atlases stuff, but I really like Frighten Rabbit, they are so good. I still can't decide if I'm going to go to the show or not yet. I really want to, but I'm kinda broke :/
