Strong Bad:There's no such thing as mysterious! Homestar: I don't want to take any chances. We should play in a band just to be safe.

You probably don't remember me but you posted on a journal of mine about local music once. I was wondering if you knew a good venue that this band called northsoutheastwest might be able to play at. A friend of mine knows them and is trying to help them find venues to look into booking in the twin cities. their site is myspace.com/nsew. if you can't, that's okay. i thought i'd ask. thanks!

liked your comment on bobouchan's post, will you be my musical buddy?

Yeah I like what you sent me. Currently, Alva Star is my favorite of them, but I haven't listened to all of them a whole lot. These days it's just shuffle and go for me.

Sweet! Thank you so much for the list of Minneapolis bands. I'm working my way through it slowly but surely. It's seems like you could start up a MN six degrees of The Olympic Hopefuls game with all of the connections.

Thanks thanks thanks for all the info on the Killed Or Cured letter!

yeah this is a bizarre place to find randomly find someone you know. we do need to catch up. like i do with so many others. hm, alcoholic or caffeinated beverages...what a decision to have to make!

i also wanted to point out that thinking of something as an example of good music and wanting to listen to it are two very different things.

well, we both like they might be giants quite a bit. the rest isn't really that tough to figure out. you like songwriters; i like composers. i don't dislike songwriters, it's just not what generally interests me.

I found out that I seem to be in possession of I Am The Movie, which contains the aforecommended Modern Chemistry, so I'll give that a go. Any others from that album that you're particularly fond of?

I got your shout and recommendation about MCS. I checked them out on the iTMS and it sounded okay...I'd need more to listen to than 30 seconds of a bunch of tracks, but it didn't really grab me...but it could. :)

no bonus points for me I guess.

Do I lose points for having left Minneapolis? I hope not... seems having to live somewhere else is punishment enough!

letters to cleo! gah! guilty pleasure! hehehe. oh, hi there :)

SHOUT! Ha. That was almost funny.
