Dude! I know I'm terrible at replying most of the time, but this takes the cake! Haha, I apologise man. I know right? Low compat, the hells up with that? At least GY!BE, TWDY and a cheeky American Football make an appearance there. Sounds all too familiar though man, you nailed it. Studying music at Monash and going nowhere fast, haha. I'm hoping to get into journalism next year though! But, it's been a crazy long time since we all had a chance to get together brew, we should look into throwing together a bit of a catch up next year or something. Oh dude! Did you end up getting Godspeed tickets?

Hmmm. Well, lately I've been listening to a lot of of Montreal, but not everyone likes them, they're kind of weird. Also I would say Neko Case, Portishead, and yeah VVV Simon & Garfunkel. Bob Dylan, too, if you like them. And since you like Neutral Milk Hotel I'd say to check out Andrew Jackson Jihad, the style is a bit similar.

Hey thanks! You've got good taste yourself. As for Simon and Garfunkel I would suggest the songs they did from The Graduate (crazy movie) like Mrs. Robbinson, Sound of Silence, and Scarborough Fair. Then just get one of their greatest hits. They're good.

I heard it's about a terminally ill child, though I prefer to think about it as a Dr who falls in love with a patient who then dies - makes it sadder for me I think. Have you listened to Bon Iver? It's being compared to that a lot, and it's not a bad match. Also, nice taste, superbuddy.

well, then lucky you! we don't have much rock bands, and there aren't any indie bands :( I had a teacher who is Australian, he was always mentioning how great Australia is, that's where my interest comes from :D I live in the capital city, it's supposed to be more "developed" city in our country but it's one of the most boring places in the world, I guess. all I'm expecting from university is meet some people who wants to work in cinema/theater industry. my dream job is being a director, but it's a little hard, you know. you have to know some famous people etc.. I hope I can be that lucky someday, haha :D

haha I wasn't trying to be kind really :D yeah, I heard a lot about australia and it's one of the top places I want to visit. but it's so far away from here :| well, the music stuff is same here too :( they always play lousy music, except the university radios :D what about the concerts&daily life? it's so boring here, there is nothing you can do. the good stuff is only in Istanbul :(
