You said you want a foward so I guess you are not open to taking Redden or Roszival off our hands. Maybe you can get Koivu, I don't know how you feel about him coming from the hated Habs.

It'swierd Holleweg was good for a while, he was a tough player but then he started taking dumb penalties. His last year with the Rangers, he did it twice. Once during the season they where in Montreal and they were losing 3-0 but they came back to tie it. Right after they tied it and took over the momentum of the game he takes a stupid boarding major. They were able to survive it and win but it almost cost them the game. The other time was bigger when they were down 2-0 in the Pittsburgh series. Game 3 was at home and the Pens took the lead early it was either 1-0 or 2-0 but the Ranger came back with two quick goals and the building was rocking. But soon after Holleweg did what Hollweg does best and they lost the momentum, the game and eventually the series.

Yeah Brashear blindsided Betts last year in Game 6 and fractured his cheek or something. I was at that game and I thought there would be a riot because there was no penalty called to Brashear but Mara got one for jumping on Brashear. Betts was no where near the puck so it could have been 5 and a game. I get your point about those types of players, it made more sense in the old NHL which was so grabby and not open like now. You must of loved Tucker then great scorer and a man that did not mind dropping the gloves. But if you had to have one Orr is a good one to have, major improvement from Ryan "5 min boarding major at bad time" Holleweg.

Don't dismiss Orr right away. He is a very good fourth line and team role player. He won't score many goals but he has by far improved in the offenive part of his game over the years. He fights at the right time and rarely takes a dumb penalty which is not common for that type of player. I would of prefered to keep Orr instead of getting Brashear but I am guessing that happened because of the length of a contract he wanted and due to the trde Philly made on draft day. He is more likely to drop to the Pronger level than Orr. I think that is important because it almost prevents cheap shots on Gabby by Pronger because Brashear wil be right there to go after Gange or Richards.

Throw in Mark Bell and you've got yourself a deal. Haha seriously, though, I just can't understand the Komisarek signing. First of all, he's overrated and will be exposed when no longer paired with a d-man of Markov's caliber (sorry, Kabs) and, secondly, I thought it was offense the Leafs needed help on? Choking spree just started a little early this year is all. Joe Thornton was invisible, only registering his first shot of the game when there were 48 seconds left in the 3rd period and the result was essentially decided and Patrick Marleau was a ghost as well. The Sharks refused to go in front of the net for screens, tips and rebound tap-ins and were just overall apathetic. This team isn't going far with their current attitude, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if they get bounced one round earlier than usual this year. FUCK.

Yeah you probably don't want to hiear this but he has been great since he got here. He has been skating, shooting and scoring. He has really added to our team and we might not have made the playoffs without him and Morris.

It begins. Tonight Nik had two great chances. First time he hit the post and second time he just could not finish. At least they are winning and scoring more than 1 goal.

I will try not to expect much but with the trade he instanly became the goal scoring leader on the team with 21. Kinda sad. Also, I like the deal because the Rangers are such a small team, he adds size.

I am really used to being frustrated by hockey players, so I am I am not to worried about Nik. I liked Dawes and Prucha even though they did not score a lot they were tough players. I never really liked Kalin so his departure is okay. I think the real winner today is Boston. They got veteran leadership in Recchi and a solid D man in Montador plus they already have a great team.

I was feeling okay with that trade being the only one the Rangers made, until I just found out that they also traded for Morris from Pheonix. They traded Prucha, Dawes and Kalin, a bit much in my opinion. I will take the 10 rebound goals with the way we have been scoring lately.

I am not sick with NHL 09, I would say more addicted, probablly because the Rangers win more in the game. This is probablly the best NHL game yet, I was just saying that I guess I can put it down to play GTA. This one was the best, Niko was a great character but it does seem like fun to be a bad guy this time. With Niko I kind of felt weird when I beat up old ladies and homeless guys.
