I like how you're apparently OK with Chase & Status being two spots higher than her.

Oh but I like being super with someone. But I'm not prepared to start listening to AC/DC and Opeth in order to maintain it so I guess it's bound to change.

Listen to "Silver Lining" by Bonnie Raitt. She's like a cool Alison Krauss who's lived a little. With no violin. And a guitar instead. And blues instead of country. But you know what I mean. She's a woman who sings. She's probably got lots of other good stuff too, but Silver Lining is the only one I know.

Ive been listening to rumours, which I'm guessing is the 'shitty woman era' and Then play on, which im guessing is more acceptable in your opinion. Have you heard the new and so i watch you from afar album? its probs the best thing they have done so far, if you don't have it you should give it a listen when you get back. On papa hobo, I'm sorry its not Megadeath, who are, of course, the finest artists of their generation.

Thanks for the info! I wikied Schenker and it used the words "Heavy metal" so maybe I'll focus more on Spocks Beard, anything Marillionesque is good with me. New Who is pretty wicked as well, the two-part opener was great, although (I'll try not to spoil anything) it sets up a very complicated series arc that they're gonna have to work hard to resolve well. The third episode was fun, but standard filler really. Oh, and the Silence are awesome. Miss you! xx

Hmm, maybe I just got overexcited about the fact that Robert Hart sounds EXACTLY like Paul Rodgers, and is good enough to sing a chorus without having to recruit a full unison choir to help him out. It's still a lot better than anything post-RWTP though. Yeah I think I might wait a bit for the cheapest possible tickets. Pretty disappointing lineup this year, to be honest - I only wanna go cos I know Tull will play more of a best of set than they did last year. I think I shall be London-bound on the 16th, so I shall see you in our fair capital quite soon! xxx

It's amazing! I actually think it might be better than Run With the Pack, I'm not sure...yeah I've seen a couple of the shorts from Coffee and Cigarettes, the Tom Waits one and the Steve Coogan one, I'd like to see the rest though, cos it looks pretty good. Black Country's ok, but I don't love it. There are a couple of great songs, but it's only really amazing when JB takes over, whenever the other guy's in charge it gets a bit shit. But it's not bad. Yeah, I was thinking about a Sunday ticket - how much would it be for just one day? xxx

So, I already told you over the phone, but: Roots to Branches. Listen to Roots to Branches. The last 4 songs especially, and to a SLIGHTLY lesser extent the first two, are AMAZING. And Valley's good too. Also, I notice we've slipped into the yellow. This is bad. Listen to some Marillion and some Waits and get that bar back up!

Ohhh, somehow we've gone up to medium compatability. I think a certain band beginning with 'F' may be responsible xxx
