Oh my god. Did you see Joanna Newsom when she played in Brisbane in January? She is indescribably magical. I was in utter awe.

...and it's worse than that... I'm heading to San Diego in November, and consequently missing !!!, Nouvelle Vague and Animal Collective, and may miss Menomena since they're playing a shitbox in St Gallen on a Monday night... Sigh.

I know, I'm counting my blessings... I'm HELL looking forward to the next fortnight! Although I haven't managed to listen to the new AiH album yet, what a pain... Scott Walker is a very strange fellow indeed, I can only take small doses of his particular brand of depressing suicide music.
