on point

Check out Ta-ku's "50 Days for Dilla" Vol 1 & 2. Some great beats. https://soundcloud.com/takugotbeats/sets/50-days-for-dilla-1

can you recommend me any Dangermouse records?

get on this http://youtu.be/HOS2IGk1dfk

Lovely taste..hugs

Nice! Not heard any Mitsu in a while. To be quite honest though, I'm more enthused about Godfather Don.. No idea how it's taken me this long to hear his stuff.. Only got into Dela quite recently, too. For something a bit different, check out this Panacea track: http://youtu.be/cPKWdws3eM4.. Also, the Joe Beats Experiment: http://youtu.be/Nh7GXRv6xVY

Alright? Elmatic's still getting some serious airtime round my way.. One of the best recommendations I've had in a while, so cheers for that.. Just picked up Will Sessions' instrumental album on Spotify.. Pretty grand. Have you heard any Joey Bada$$? Give 'Survival Tactics' a listen: http://youtu.be/mQJFwXpCIVM..

easy fella. couple of recent finds for ya. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jl7yuunIGFc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3T3omfHF0es smooth beats. second artist i'm struggling to find info on.

Great charts, plenty of stuff ive never heard of too

Good spot! Kicking myself for not having checked out Elzhi sooner. It's a bold move for an album! Always nice to hear a new take on a track (without departing from a winning formula too much..). I've been getting into a bit of Blu lately (Melo is a fave), and 'Step Up' from InI's 'Center of Attention' are pretty epic. That said, Pete Rock and CL Smooth's 'It's on You' is probably a favourite of mine. That Ahmad Jamal sample kills it. Lastly: 'Let off a Couple' from the Beatnuts. Yes.

you like Godfather Don and you support Arsenal?! Pople like you are few and far between

Incredible charts, dude. Waiting 'til I have a chance to sample some of the names outside our overlap..

It sure is a nice album. I added you to my Spotify people so I'll pass stuff when I hear something cool. I also try to keep a playlist with my newly found favorites. Maybe you should check it out: http://open.spotify.com/user/rickvanmook/playlist/3QzgvF1Ewyyd3k3mYr2Uq0

Thanks...good to see someone's listening to Godfather Don..he's so underrated.

Great taste man! Digging your Spotify playlist too...

Thanks for the request!! Ill charts man! Props!

Hey love! I'm in a rush right now, can't wait to listen to the links you've sent me. I'll pm you when I do! Thanks, & I'm glad you liked everything!

You're welcome, Thanks to you as well, mos def some gems. By the way that drummer is legend, but he's also a p.i.m.p lol. I remember seeing him in a similar video, but it was on "Use Me". It was the same set, he was so focused and mellow lol. But that Grand Puba - I Like It is chill! One of my favorites of the links that you've sent me. "Could it be I stayed away to long, these mc's be wishin' I was gone." Yeah that's a sick track for sure. You checked out my grooveshark? Yeah I love Jamiroquai, I have to get some more jams onto my grooveshark though. I canceled my tumblr blog account, now I wish I hadn't. I had some dope stuff posted on there too. But it's some cool tracks on grooveshark as well. "Set A Drift On Memory Bliss" have you heard that song? It's by PM Dawn: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AOVf9p9ht4 doooope throw back track I stumbled upon recently. It's on my grooveshark. But now It's only right that I bombard your inbox lol I have some things I'd like you listen to.

Not to drown you in links, but when you can, check these out & let me know what you think. You know every now and then it would be cool if we could exchange some links, I'd love to hear some of your finds & hopefully you'll like some of mines: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2n4sj3LEH0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGh3S_SUG4o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=il3w-iP18l8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84so31ypphw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPbR_41DmRc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SutM48WhAUY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ikMonVIcLw

The keys are crazy! It's just little things in certain tracks that stand out to me, the hook is mind blowing. Just up until recently I realized youtube had some dope post, people who post these vinyl to mp3 tracks. Rare, unreleased tracks and instrumentals that I've been searching for forever or had at one point, but could never find another copy online. But I like your taste for sure, I admire the lyricism as much as the instrumentals of tracks, but sometimes the beat is so dope that I totally tune out the rapping. The Da Grassroots - Black Dove link you sent me, I zoned out, that beat is awesome. I used to think youtube was overrated, but it really is a useful tool, now that I know I can find music like "Da Grassroots" for instance and other underground artist I knew nothing about. Have you heard of, "The Nonce"? If not you should give them a listen too, they have some golden tracks. I think you'll like this joint : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwdYGejF7aI

Dope, I listen to CL Smooth, & of course I've heard of Nujabes, but I never thought to give him the time of day. I'm mos def going to give him a listen now, you have great taste yo. I love the horns on that track too. I just started listening to Da Grassroots though : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2U6OsfH6Y0 But you're probably already on to these cats I bet, huh?

That Pete Rock remix through the youtube link is dope.

Thanks for the friend request. Dope library over here too!

went a bit balistic in the sendbox...

I mos def agree! I love Ran Reed, you're the first fellow fan i've ever met. How Itz Going Down is a classic track.

Sup Kid, saw your comment on Blahzay's page, still looking for some Blahzay Blahzay? PM me.

yeah same to you....nice collection bruh

Nice collection mate!

You two my friend. I see you understand real hip hop :). You may enjoy this playlist i've been whipping up over the years http://www.last.fm/user/AlaNio/library/playlists/38kg9_hip-hop

hihi )) nice time ))

thx for comin around ))

Oh yea, John Taylor does a lot of funky runs in Duran, it's just not mixed super-high on the low-end. But trust, it's there! And APP, can't say I've heard much of them, aren't they a 60's psych-rock band?

Yay, nice to see a hiphop + Steely fan (I figure we might be a rare breed ;) Cheers!

Masta Ace rocks mate! :D Just listende to "Hird - Keep You Kimi", thaaanks a lot man, that song is amazin'...

I love his music, for me he's a genius! He has a lot of great tracks, some of my favs are: Beautiful, Block Episode, Take A Walk, Travelocity, Acknowledge, No Regrets, etc. ... a great track from Masta Ace & Edo G: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLbc551SvH8

Thanks mate! If you like my fav tracks, you have a great taste in music. :D Have to listen to your loved tracks. Your charts looks great, but where is Masta Ace? Not in the top 20?! ;D Best regards from Germany...

Likewise. Little bit of real hip hop combined with some Steely Dan can never go wrong.

yeah screwball is the shit. found some good stuff here, too. thanks a lot...

Thanks, man! I still haven't listened to the J-Live track (I know, blasphemy since it's on the site I write for), but I'm sure it's a banger.

You've got some incredible taste! Thanks very much for the add.

tnx ;)

i feel i answered that producer question wrong earlier, ...i have been thinking about it, ..not sure what the right answer is yet, ..i just know it's not the answer i initially gave
