Latest addicting cheese-pop song: "Something New" by Girls Aloud. Check out the video on Youtube! Oh, I've been using a Chinese app called Wechat more than Facebook to post life updates. You should get that--it's free :)

Oh, I just checked out Arcade Fire's new song, "Reflektor": it's a 7 minute disco epic produced by James Murphy and featuring David Bowie (!)

There's not much of a chorus to latch onto in "Work Bitch." The lyrics, however, are profound as always: a scathing Marxist critique on mindless, incessant consumerism! I love how Britney injects social commentary into all her art. Haha I'd forgotten about that album! It's truly a...guilty...pleasure.

Work Bitch was a major disappointment. Just another generic club banger :( Britney is capable of so much more~

I just downloaded it last night--really enjoying the atmosphere so far, especially on "Alvar" and "Thea." Creepy lyrics, too. So far it seems to be a better album than the previous '80s-inspired one. Ooh, you're lucky! I really want to see the Chromatics and Glass Candy!

Hmm...I should listen to more of that guy's music. Looks interesting. Lately, I've been listening to Bauhaus, as you can probably see. "Stigmata Martyr" is absurd but catchy, especially when he screams out, "IN NOMINE PATRI ET FILII ET SPIRITI SANCTUM!"

Mom sent me season seven in the mail but not six, strangely. I enjoy it more than I did season five because it's utterly ridiculous--they don't even care about making it realistic by this point. Unfortunately, most of the cast is gone, but there's one amazing addition: Lexi Sterling, super slut and Amanda's big rival. She's laughably libidinous in every one of her salacious scenes, making her my favorite character from the final season. Jane does make a comeback, but it's not as interesting as you'd think--and she randomly decides to re-marry Michael the moment they see each other again. On their wedding day, though, Michael accuses her of cheating on him in front of everyone at the reception and then he ends up drunkenly seducing Megan the ex-hooker on the roof above Amanda's apartment, which subsequently collapses causing them to land in Amanda's bed--where Jane had sought refuge. Afterwards, Jane takes off her wedding dress and burns it in the courtyard by the pool!

Yeah, as for Echo, their first album is kind of pedestrian British rock, but the second album is amazing! Post-punk heaven. I recently watched season 7 of MP. There's this incredibly ridiculous plot about defective sperm driving Amanda's 20th husband or so crazy enough to do drugs, drink too much alcohol, and push her and her unborn baby out of a window over a misunderstanding regarding her last ex-husband. Gotta love this show...

I'll check them out once I get home and connect to good internet. Recently I've been listening to The Sisters of Mercy, cheesy '80s goth/pop. You should check out "Lucretia, My Reflection." That bass is killer...

Did you know that in 100 years love will be illegal in Geronimo's Cadillac calling from Atlantis to Brother Louie, who's your heart and your soul with China in his eyes? Also, you can win Cheri Cheri Lady Lei if you want on a jet airliner with a little love because she's your sexy sexy lover.

Oh, I just re-discovered Modern Talking. So many gems..."Atlantis Is Calling," "Geronimo's Cadillac," "Cheri Cheri Lady," "You're My Heart, "You're My Soul..." Would you like me to send you some music files...?

It's actually not really "new," since it was recorded 2005-2006. It took them this long to release it, though...apparently an actual new album will be out this year or next--but without Hook and with Gillian Gilbert. I think their last album was pretty good, so I don't mind if they continue recording, especially if its going to be an electronic record as has been rumored. Summer put together this atrocious side project album with the band Bad Lieutenant, all Brit-pop inspired bullshit. Seriously hope not to hear more of that.

Nice Britney in your charts :) Oh, New Order finally released their outtakes from their last album, calling it Lost Sirens. Some of the songs are actually worth checking out (I even heard one of them, "Sugarcane," in H&M the other day).

Oh, DM have a new song out: "Heaven." It's kind of dirge-y, but the electro pop remixes are sweet.

I'm in a cheesy mood lately, hence all the '80s and now the Romanian Dance Pop. Check out Inna's "J'adore."

I haven't had much success trying to find old-school house. One of the few things I could find were the tags Chicago House and Soulful House. From there you divide the artists by date and explore using the similar artists to find others. I haven't spent much time trying to find stuff though. Hope you do.

For Vocal House and Deep House, I recommended the following artists, Adeva, Carolyn Harding, Liz Torres, Colonel Abrams, Byron Stingily, Ten City, Darryl D'Bonneau, Joi Cardwell, Stephanie Cook, Miguel Migs, Club 69, among others. I hope this helps. Let me know. Thanks!
