Funny story about Finch, when I was about 14 or so I would stay up late to watch the Punk Show on Much Music (when it occassionally played good music... or music at all) and I saw the video for Letters to You and I became a bit obsessed. What It Is To Burn became my anthem for like, a year. That wasn't a funny story, I'm sorry.

Thank you for listening to The Joy Formidable, I think they're going to be my new obsession. They're filling a voids or sure. Somewhere in between Alpines and The Jezabels. :D

Last.fm needs to tell me when you write me a shout, honestly. And the answer is, I have not listened to them... yet. Doing so now.

Yeah sure! Although I'm no expert myself concerning those genres ;) some folk-rock oder somehow folk-related stuff: [artist]Schandmaul[/artist], [artist]In Extremo[/artist], [artist]Subway To Sally[/artist], [artist]Coppelius[/artist], [artist]Fiddler's Green[/artist]. [artist]Saltatio Mortis[/artist]. Those are probably the most famous ones. Oh, maybe you also like [artist]Faun[/artist]. And next: neofolk! :) -> [artist]Neun Welten[/artist], [artist]Hekate[/artist], [artist]Orplid[/artist], [artist]Darkwood[/artist], [artist]Sonne Hagal[/artist]. If I think of something else, I'll let you know. :) Or just tell me if you want more.

No, it's not bad. I just thought English would be easier for you. :) You just mixed up some genders of nouns, but I guess that is hard for all non-native speakers ;) But one can understand you nonetheless. And my English is probably also not perfect, so what the hell. :D So, you weren't born in Canada? Can I ask where you come from? And I'm fine.. more or less ;)

Yes, I struggled with the North American lack of punderstanding too (sorry..) My non-euphemistic splurge in New York was nothing short of OMGZBESTWEEKOFMYLIFEWHYCANTIBETHEREEVERYDAY. 10/10, would visit again. It was a kind of Get Heartbroken; Acquire New York scenario, and New York did not disappoint. The lights, sounds, parks, friendly people, and giant pizza all made for a happy Rachel. I could gush for hours! Nottingham is as Nottingham has always been. Good news: Autumn is coming. Sad news: Game has closed down! :( I am currently trying to convince someone to employ me, but as it turns out, no-one is crying out for a vaguely awkward, shuffly girl! Tsk. What job are you doing over there? :)

Fallington sounds awesome. Ausome? Awesumn? There's an HILARIOUS pun in there, somewhere, honest. My life! What to tell! I am no longer living in fair London town; I spent almost my entire last student loan (and future London rent!) on a spontaneous trip/running-away to beautiful New York City for a week. So now I am back in bloomin' Nottingham, missing London, and missing NYC even more. It is bizarre, as almost everyone has buggered off to better and happier places. I have visited Rescue Rooms a couple of times, and found it most disconcerting that it is four years since last I visited there, and yet I don't feel emotionally any older...younger, in fact! Life is funny. Are you in Canada for the long-term, then?
