My policy tends to be if we have nothing in common, great - I can learn from you! I know hard rock, heavy metal, classic blues and reggae so well that I prefer to natter to people who are experts on other stuff.

There's some stuff I don't listen to that I like, that I haven't gotten around to, but you're generally right XD (whoever you are!). Like I think Eminem's fucking sound, Jackie Wilson, too. Lady GaGa has a few tunes, and I have a guilty soft spot for Avril.....other than that, mostly artists I've not heard of rather than don't like! If I attempt to be open minded, recommend me one or two songs and see if I can stomach your tastes? XD

Just to contribute to the exam stress/nightmares discussion... last night i dreamt i was trapped in a garden full of fish (my idea of hell) before being attacked by a puffin... which my dad then shot. It was horrible! xxx

yeah thats still my number. i assume you've still got the same retro phone as well? i've not seen any violence or muggings or anything in leicester. although there was a crime spree directed at the halls of residence last year, but i think that was just people accidentally leaving doors and windows open and stuff. also one of sam's flatmates comes from leicester and was once mugged by a somalian guy apparently. birmingham sounds terrifying though.

who needs to go out when you've got board games to play. we've got months of nights out this summer anyway. yeah i prefer home friends too, we had our own gang and stuff, but maybe thats cos i've only known uni friends a few months. i live in the coppice, not as good as some of the other places but still ok. you should give me a call or something if you do come.

that dream is pretty mental, almost certainly a result of exam stress. also why would a bus driver need to highjack a bus? a lot more exciting than my dream. once kieran told me about a dream he had where me and him watched from russia with love in at sam's house, pretty boring dream (and film), it turned out it acutally happened though.

yeah it doesnt really count for anything so we can afford to be half hearted about them. i had a dream last night where someone said they were harder than ever before. maybe thats a sign of exam stress. good luck with your exam tomorrow.

my first exam(american history) is on the 20th, which i think is next wednesday. and my other exam (international relations) is the 27th. first year doesnt count towards degree though so as long as i pass it's all good. how many exams do you have?

yeah, leicester's going well thanks, just handed in my last assignment, only a couple of exams to do now, just starting to revise and that. it'll all be done by the end of may. how are things for you?
