Cheers for the French pop recommendations! The 30 secs of France Gall makes me want to hear more. I like Francoise Hardy's stuff but, as my copy of her greatest hits is on cassette, it doesn't show up here. Have you heard the LP L'Incendie by Areski and Brigitte Fontaine? More folk than pop I guess but pretty lovely in my opinion.

Feel free to recommend me some french pop!
