Id feel such a loser going on my own, but i like Blood Red Shoes enough to go on my tod, ive also many weeks to work on a friend to go with, just need to drag either one away from their bf/gf. I have actually seen BRS's like 3 times before but not for many years. Horrors were immense and im also debating Summer Camp after you suggested them and I liked them . I can happily sing/play guitar to myself but an audience would be scary. x

Hi again! I’m indecisive on Veronica falls as I need to find a friend to attend I fractured my foot/sprained my ankle but was off the crutches for Horrors thankfully. I cant hear great in my ear from standing too close to speakers but it was a good night, I’m about 6ft1 so having someone infront of me is rarely a problem. I wish there was a Pavement documentary id watch it multiple times xx

Hi, thats pretty funny you thought I was someone you knew, its my common name that possibly confused you. I didn’t even know you were localish till lastfm told me I had 3 lastfm people attending Veronica Falls and you were amongst them, not that ive even bought a ticket yet. Horrors is next Sunday! It’s not changed AGAIN I don’t think. Funny you should ask if im well, as im hoping to be off my crutches for the horrors/not limping like an idiot. I like the Waterfront for good memories and; being tall I don’t miss seeing stuff but otherwise it’s not great and the floor is always sticky. I never saw Stephen on the reunion tour but I really wanted to. I hope you are well as its pretty late, bbc4 is showing lots of live Nirvana and R.E.M for some reason xx

Hi, replying is awful difficult when the other message isn't in front of you! I love stephen malkmus too, nobody will wear a checked shirt as well as he does. Literally just listened to summer camp and really liked them :) remind me a bit of Broadcast. I was thinking of seeing Yuck in Naarwich but knew none of my friends would like em so didnt bother :( im super excited for The Horrors though, wild horses wouldnt stop me from seeing them xx

Feel like I'm massively boasting here but my friend got Summer Camp to play at his gf's birthday BBQ as part of their music pledge thing! I was actually watching them play with about 15 other people in someones garden eating a hotdog haha! Such lovely people.

Yo! Stephen was sick! I actually bumped into him on some stairs! my friend said hello and I just smiled and nearly fainted. I was also right at the front for his show, such a good festival..Church On White is still my fav song by the Jicks. I'm from Weymouth, it's a boring seaside town....

That sucks, you should try to get out of it somehow. I've never been to Norwich before but I'm a big Alan Partridge fan, think Delia Smith is alright, love mustard and your football team are ok. Hows is Norwich for you? I went to the second Pavement reunion show at Brixton Academy, it was life changing in a way but I wish i could remember more of it. Did you go?

i'm not entirely sure because my mum ordered it for me, but i think it was £20 including postage. i know, i didn't expect them to sell out so quickly either! i kept saying i would get a ticket and didn't and then they'd sold out! i'm lucky i still got one though. yes, hopefully you'll be able to get one, maybe someone you know might be selling a ticket they don't want? haha, it's fine! xxxxx

yeah it's definitely up there in my list of best gigs ever ha. I've always thought it was Silence Kit - that's what my Crooked Rain tells me anyway. I'm doing History, it's pretty sweet. Yeah, I like Norwich - nice and relaxing but still has cool stuff to do and nice pubs and stuff.

yeah I saw their first gig at Brixton - was so amazing (check the setlist http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/pavement/2010/o2-academy-brixton-london-england-7bd4e29c.html ) they played for like 2 hours! I'm from Brighton but I go to Uni in Norwich. Yeah, I've seen some good gigs in Norwich recently, the arts centre is a really cool venue.

I was gutted to miss them too - it was on my birthday and everything...i was subtly hinting to go for for months but alas - no pavement gig. I might just directly ask next time. I definately didn't make it to constellations...lets just say a night in the cells prevented the trip. gutted to have missed los camps, four tet and local natives.

Hey i think they played a very similar set, i thought it was a bit odd the solo stuff but overall I really enjoyed it. They hung around a little bit after so i had a very brief chat them. I quite like the church setting, the venue in london is the union chapel and they quite often have acoustic gigs there the only thing with it is you need to get there quite early to get a good seat. Was only the 2nd time ive seen them but defo prefer them electric. I cant wait until reading now, who you looking forward to seeing. x

Ahh he's always great, sad that Frank Sidebottom died though. He made a good support act ): What other poetry are you into? Any Bukowski, or is it all Wilde and Eliot aha. I'm peachy, just working a spell at a record store in Massachusetts. Heading back home end of the week though as I've just not got enough money to stay :\ It's been an interesting trip though aha. Manage to catch Belle & Sebastian at Latitude? I can't wait to see them, and Jónsi was supposed to have been really good as well.
