Heya, how was Harvest? The National were fantastic at the Perth side show! Squalor Victoria and Afraid Of Everyone were the highlights =) both spectacular, though they were pretty great all night. I got to see Baby, We'll Be Fine too which is my favourite hehe ^_^ http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-national/2011/metro-city-perth-australia-13d1ed7d.html

In that case, since I'm on a roll; your profile picture is the coolest one I've seen in a while.

"I've been off in my own world, as the sun gave way to gale and cloud. No harm can come whilst listening to Peter." Best quote I've seen in a while.

Haha, life is always good when there's good music. Your taste in music is nothing to frown upon either!

Haha. Yeah I know what you mean. It's not bad or anything, though. I really liked Codex and Give Up The Ghost at first, but after more listens it's Lotus Flower and Little By Little that seem to stand out. Yeah I have, it's awesome :D but yeah, I haven't really listened to the album much since the first few days of release, lol.

Oh good on you! I hope you find Laneway tix, I'm sadly having to restrain myself because I'm trying to save for my end of high school trip (I prefer calling it that to Schoolies ha) - I went in to English today slightly under-prepared but I found it rather easy, I have further on Monday/Wednesday too, yikes!

Nice nice, I got mine too, this is actually my first (legally) overage show, pretty special. Yep, sadly I do, been half-heartedly studying my butt off but it's crunch time now so I should probably not be online :P best of luck with yours! x

Indeed, that's kinda sucky but I know how you feel. I turn 18 this December so I narrowly escape having to be sneaky, but it's Interpol! Unmissable...I see you're going to Muse on the 15th, rad, I'm going on the 14th so I'll let you know my verdict ;) haha, oh, and see you at BDO! So excited for that, heaps of great dance acts this year.

Cheers, I can't wait! No Carlos is really a bit of a dampener coz he's so talented, but it's going to be just incredible to hear Paul's voice live :)

awesome tunes, almost exactly the same as taste as mine. missed out on tickets to Splendour just couldnt drum up enough support for a trip to qld. I'm actually a splendour member which makes things so much worse considering i have walk up access to 4 tickets. anyway going to miss the best festival lineup ever in aus. that means however lots of side show in melbs. speaking of sidehows how can a promoter put surfa blood and the strokes on the same night plus lcd and yeasayer on another night not too mention band and grizzly on another night. this sux. I want to go to splendour!

I'm sorry you missed it, it really was the highlight >=( yeah lol everyone yelling out SIA! and pumping their fists was quite hilarious. AC/DC... hm no comment... just hope they never pull that one again. Aw damn, up close was really intense but I'm sure that was good too. Nah not Kasabian, haven't really heard their stuff... did hears some Mastodon, didn't like it much. Shame you missed Karnivool, IMO they're amazing. Decemberists were interesting, we had the front rail haha, but you didn't miss -too- much not seeing them. Lol my neck is sunburnt and sore but not too bad, my legs were killing me after it though because we had to walk 20 mins to out car x( lol. Anyway good times.

I could ask you the same thing ;D well I thought it was absolutely amazing. I saw Karnivool > Temper Trap > The Decemberists > Mars Volta > Muse although heard/watched on the screen Lily Allen, Powderfinger, Blue Juice and a bit of Mastodon too. I wanted to see Eskimo Joe and Lisa Mitchell but timetable clashes unfortunately... anyway the two standouts for me were Karnivool and Muse, Karnivool played a fantastic set and I more or less forgot about reality for half of it, but then Muse after waiting in the same spot for two and a half hours (four people from the front just to the right) just blew me away, Stockholm Syndrome was the killer for me but the Knights ending was insane too. Only Undisclosed Desires (very flat) and Back In Black (just no) weren't good, and I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't play New Born, but it was an amazing set. And an amazing day :D

Yeahh, I sort of... fell off the internet. I just cleaned out my email inbox yesterday, which made me feel a little more organised, prepped for the big '10. I can't be bothered MSNing anymore (haha, I must sound so lazy... but I really can't :P) but have developed a taste for long, long emails. Except that most people reply with "k kool thnx" or something, which sort of defeats the purpose of, well, communicating... -sigh- Anyway, 'm going off-topic. Good to know that you're fine (of course you're fine, it's nearly Christmas!) and that people still remember who I am. ^________^ // We're v. high compatibility, despite me not knowing even half the artists in your top 8. Hmm. xD
