Yeah, I'm definitely also waiting for the new Insomnium album! It's got to be reaally good though so it won't feel like a slight disappointment after the last couple of albums by them :) But let's hope for the best!

Chill, there's no trouble at all :} I get you though, despite it's labels' job to take care of teasers and all that, they were involved a lot this time which is worth some respect at least. Depends on what you expect from the album then, I guess. I didn't have anything in particular on my mind but they just made it count at full max.

Hei, just noticed that you're going to see Amorphis in November... I'm so looking forward to seeing them live again, just booked me & husband tickets for the show in our city in October. Hey, thanks for your shout & greets from Germany! No need to apologize, I'm always interested in feedback :) The album isn't bad, it's just not what I expected from them. As I said, I think the songs are a lot simpler and straightforward. Compared to other bands, it's still a good album, but its a bit of a disappointment for "GB standards". It has all the elements of their sound, but watered down a lot. I don't regret buying it, especially since I bought it directly from their label and only paid 12€. It's worth it, I think, but don't expect another Isolation Songs, because it doesn't compare at all. It reminded me more of a mix of Insomnium and Amorphis, but unfortunately not as good as either band. ;) It's a solid melodic death metal album, but I wouldn't call them "progressive" anymore (which IS clearly was).
