honestly yeah I am feeling it. seems like he has really grown as an artist, some of the chord progressions, lyrics and melodies are damn good. the few tracks with a heavy 80's vibe (Sign Me Up, Speedometer, work well against his more acoustic-indie rock tunes. he took the direction from Twelve Carat Toothache and developed it into a much better album imo.

Gladly! Great taste btw - let's see if I can rec something you haven't already discovered! Debby Friday's latest album GOOD LUCK is pretty great. Jam City Presents EFM is some lovely experimental pop. Sad Night Dynamite stole my heart last year and I am eagerly awaiting more music from them. + GREENTEA PENG!!!! Happy listening & hit me with some recommendations sometime 👍

WOAH Flamingosis in your top artists too! Not to toot my own horn or anything but I signed that dood to my indie label back in like 2010-2013 (Grappa Frisbee Records) - it's amazing to see him flourishing nowadays and super cool to randomly see the name in someones profile!!!

that is unbelievably cool!! like i am so stoked about that lore, Flamingosis carried me through some very bad years so yeah important music to say the least. I checked out your website and it seems like you're a bit of a powerhouse lol? Will also check out your music probably tomorrow, I am always keen for recommendations as well. If you've got the time you should check out Pneuma by Moving Mountains. One of my all-time favourite albums :).

Oh wow Ponytail! After looking them up I can confirm that my brother really enjoyed them in his college years - I remember him telling a story of seeing them perform in a loft and it being an incredibly energetic and chaotic show! Time for me to learn for myself ✨🎧✨

Happy 14th scrobbling anniversary today! ... How fast time flashed by when playing over 4200 bands ... May the Muses, goddesses of music, song and dance, bless you with more such musical anniversaries, and many exquiste, musical discoveries in the years to come ... What's your view about lastfm lately ( and if you still remember, what did you look forward to back when you joined )? ... P.S. I'll present this song (e.g. available at spotify) to this birthday of yours: ... genre: experimental/minimalistic -> ... "seventeen" (this track has 100 beats per minute): ... https://www.last.fm/music/Erkan+Y%C4%B1lmaz/_/seventeen -> this is from album ("violin meets piano (3rd album)") ... btw: here in Germany we now have to wear masks when driving bus, shopping and so on... Is this same at your place, Chris ?

listen to Cargo Cults definately lived the Black Moth Super Rainbow and Animal Collective influences. I kept envisioning a performance to be similar to Black Moth Super Rainbow when i listened.
