Iceland was amazing, it was my third time out there this year. This time it was a mix of Iceland Airwaves festival and then travelling up the east coast. I've made a few quite good friends out there which helps a lot :o) I met Jonsí in a small venue, just before Parachutes were about to play. Was pretty cool!! Mogwai and Ólafur this weekend were bloody amazing... did you enjoy the gigs? Sorry about the delayed response, i've not long been back! Mike

Yeah I had seen some pictures of Conor in a white suit, but it was interesting to see everyone on stage all in white. It was like a wedding! I'm going to LA in September so I think I will stop by the wall Elliott stood in front of on Figure 8, it'll be wierd being there.

ah yes Elliott Smith is the best. I really wish I could have seen him live... the whole white suit thing at the Bright Eyes show reminded me of him when he played the oscars.
