I really like "Boxer," so my expectations were raised for "High Violet." I can't speak to the latter's lyrical content, but as far as vocals and instrumentation are concerned, I'm only mildly impressed. It sounded like a b-side of "Boxer." And truthfully, as a whole, the cd -- though by no means bad -- was like a long, baritone blur ... Your thoughts?
