it would be good if you do! his album tardiness is unnacceptable, or it would be if it weren't extremely likely to be be super dooper wooper ace - I'll forgive loads of stuff for that. On another note, Catherynne and I are going to that there Birmingham on Friday. Will you be around in the evening time? There could be much rejoicing?

You're usually much faster at picking up on this sort of blokey than I am, but in case you haven't - [artist]Sun Kil Moon[/artist]. It's very good! :)

All is well here. It's nice having a lovely house again rather than the stuffy flat - plus Catherynne is double lovely!! :D Are you gonna come round soon and make merry?

Word - thanks for those tracks. You are a good egg. Hope you're still enjoying Titus Andronicus. Have you got a CD copy of C'Mon Kids? If not, want one? I know it sounds weird, but I actually consider it to be a bad luck album for me and I've decided to ditch it.

Hmm. Nine Inch Nails, then Little Boots and lastly Sepultura. Eclecticism ahoy! Oooh, Spotify + [artist]The Vaselines[/artist] = win.

You may well like [artist]Zita Swoon[/artist], sort of a loungecore [artist]dEUS[/artist]. They have a former dEUS member in their ranks, which probably goes some way to explaining that. Given the different directions the dEUS albums wandered off in, I probably ought to say that I'm listening to 'Big City', as their other albums could be [tag]Grime[/tag] or [tag]Screamo[/tag] for all I know.

Yeah, sometimes the best albums are the ones that grow on you. That said, I've got a hard disk full of albums that I never listen to because I got the urge to listen to something much more instantaneous. Art Brut in particular has a lot to answer for.

Actually, I have got a recommendation for you - [artist]Van She[/artist] - should be right up your alley that. :D poppy and friendly but very good.

i can't recommend anything to you. The last song you listened to was 'rabbit' by Chas n' Dave. This is the pinnacle of music. There's nowhere to go from there. You may not massively get along with what I'm listening to at the minute - but you might try 'Replicas' by Gary Numan + Tubeway Army. It's got a couple of tracks on you'll recognise, and it's really quite good in a bleepy bloopy 70s/80s early synthy electronica kind of way. Plus it has the unusal distinction of being a concept album that's not completely hateful. What more recommendation do you need? Oh yeah, try the new Aiden album too. It's called Knives. It's rocky and the songs are all short, punky and good.

*Gets angry* "It's just a f*cking LIST! Anybody can write that!" Oh nostalgia for my 15 year old drunken raging at Stereophonics. Joe remembers that somehow. Good news about Eug's album being on Spotify - I REALLY want to go back and listen to the Thermals again, but I'm just drowning in new, good stuff at the moment!

Being limited to what the radio throws up for me is a bit lame, but hell - it's better than nothing! So easy to get addicted to wandering about on the internets again. How was Frank Turner?
