haha that's a good seat! i loved it too, i sat nearer to the back and the energy from the audience was unexpectedly great - everyone started standing up for The Seed and the songs after that :) it was probably one of the most welcoming environments I've been in, with everyone united by aurora! i particularly appreciated the closer too, how she encouraged everyone to sing at the end of Invisible Wounds - it was a wonderful ending that really made me reflect on my own relationship with music. shed tears HAHAH, and it's rare that i get so emotional during a concert! (andd the little bit during Cure For Me definitely resonated with me :)) anyway to sum up it was an amazing experience!! let me know if you have any extended thoughts HAHA, it's nice to talk about music here :D

aaa i forgot to reply! i heard from another fan that those at the back initially wanted to get up from the get go, but the security told them to sit. but i guess during the seed there were too many people standing to control hahahah. invisible wounds made me cry too! to me that song is about my relationship with my mum. to end the concert with that song was such a strategic move :b but yeah aurora concerts are always so emotional, i cried both concerts ༼ ༎ຶ ෴ ༎ຶ༽ it's like a very expensive therapy ahhahahaha

so i'm going through your obsessions, and lmao i forgot i wasn't listening to my stuff.. the overlap in tastes always catching me off guard; love, love, love gracey and "the internet." More importantly, "the beginning" and "love you so bad" by magdalena and ezra respectively are so good--already added to my playlists.

HAHSHA tbh recently a lot of my obsessions are related to shows so it's kind of all over the place (sometimes so that i can log the shows i like, but i didn't know people noticed them so that is very cool LOL), other tracks I generally like are under loved tracks! gracey is amazing!! I LOVE MAG BAY and very glad you liked the beginning, it's getting more appreciation recently after being featured in Wednesday 😌

YES OMGG i love that album and i think listened to it more than midnights and tlt,, the local music scene is AMAZING. some of my favs are Shye, Charlie Lim, evanturetime, Gentle Bones, Linying! i would say they are like the..ndp song artists clique bc they are always collaborating. there's a lot of them in that group, you can find more artists through noticing their interactions (eg on insta) ! they are quite popular locally though, i'm still exploring underrated ones through baybeats and other gigs. Subsonic Eye is very similar to sobs, but more to their previous 2 albums (which i personally didn't like as much as Air Guitar). also here's my local music playlist if you're interested: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5Vb0mu3kLTwWS2KrvMhlOv?si=b7ffbd5af4b44346, and one by the Shye telegram channel (another way that i find people who listen to local music): https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7KMG7gBpkXCcNeKiUKTdzn?si=c4e902d58da4455f hope you find more artists you like!!

helloo you listen to a lot of rock that I'll explore sometime in the future oops, don't know a lot about rock right now (I have really only listened to some of the popular artists). Saw that you liked a song by Dayglow, I liked some of the tracks from his new album! Especially 'Stops Making Sense' and 'Then It All Goes Away'. Some good J-rock artists are RADWIMPS, ONE OK ROCK, and BUMP OF CHICKEN. For RADWIMPS I mostly listen to their movie soundtracks so I haven't listened to their rock stuff as much, but I think their RADWIMPS 4 album is quite a good rock album. The other 2 generally make more rock

You got me when I was first filling my liked songs! I'll definitely take a look into those other Dayglow songs - I only know Run the World!! I haven't had the time to get into j-rock, but now thta I have starter bands I'll soon get into it. I'm also a bit into city-pop, and I'd definitely recommend hearing 'Kiyotaka Sugiyama & Omega Tribe.' Their album Scramble Cross is a really good starter into 80s Japanese city pop, if that sounds interesting to you!

HAHA THANKS! I just realised I hit 20k, deleted a scrobble to take a quick screenshot :p The new single is pretty good, but I prefer something in the water (I was addicted to that track for days! to think I only found it when searching the lyrics "something in the water" from lewis capaldi's bruises 😳). my sister is addicted to the new single though, so I understand the appeal HAHA. I didn't know you listen to boys world too :D
