That's great - he is actually a well-respected songwriter, the band Reckless Kelly did a whole album of his songs, and whenever I have seen Chris Wall he never fails to tell some stories about when he was in Pinto's band. If you check on Youtube, you should be able to see Pinto Bennet at Wembley Festival - that was my and England's exposure to Pinto. Your lucky I would sure love to come over for your festival, sounds just my scene. If you see Pinto mention he still has fans in the UK, and I guess further a field now, as I live in Japan. Around the mid 80's he actually toured in the UK, and got some really good press and saw him live. And your alibi is?

they only really have two albums, Dusk at Cubist Castle and Black Foliage. seeing how much you love of Montreal, I'd suggest listening to Dusk at Cubist Castle first, since it's more poppy than Black Foliage, which is brilliant in a weird, trippy way.

I'm cleaning up my music folder, I am really tempted to just delete my unsorted folder, though there are a lot of guilty pleasures in there
