Yeah it really can. One song that really really REALLY helped a lot are the songs I Won't Give In by Asking Alexandria, Running through the 6 with my soul by Slaves, Dangerous by Via Vanity, Up in Flames by Blessthefall, Bitch Please by Beyond all Recognition, Just A Memory by Escape the Fate, On the Run by Dance Gavin Dance, Embrace the Evil by Upon This Dawning, and Nanovirus by Exotype were the biggest help for getting over my breakup. I think you would really like a lot of these songs. :)
