Hey, I saw a post on one of Scandinavian Metal Praise's songs, and thought I'd see what music we have in common and noticed you like Christian metal. I personally love this one, because I tried it on a game, and it just sent the game insane because of the speed of the percussion's beats. Unlike you, I have no musical talent, hence the sound technician thing. I want to learn the drums and guitar though. That's cool. Just keep going for it and seeking God. He will eventually make the path clear. I'm still waiting for Him to show me, but I know He will in time, I just need to have faith, and that's not always easy

I didn't take my education serious enough when I was in High School and now I totally regret it :\ I got through my first year of college. I went in thinking I wanted a career in photography and ended up wanting a career in music, I want to be a sound technician to be exact. My advice to you is not to wait to go to college, because you may never end up going. Even if it means only taking one class each semester for your first year. It's something and it allows you to think about what you REALLY want to do. i'm still asking God what he wants for my life, so I honestly don't know if this sound technician thing is it. In just know God but a passion for music in me and I want to be involved with music as far as my career is concerned.

I like the weather and just want a change of scenery. God only knows where I will end up though, I won't limit myself

But you only named a few, isn't there more? Where do you live? I live in california so concerts come here often, doesn't mean they're worth going to though.

Just to name a few? I thought it wasn't long? haha. My to do list consists of cleaning my room, keeping it clean, also go and see certain bands live, some bands have been on the list since 2009, which is sad. There are many other little things as well. The list grows too much. It's like one thing gets crossed off and 2 more are added haha

Oh I agree completely! And to be quite honest, that's how I really was feeling at the time. But this last song is pretty sweet; I need to see if I can find an online tempo set, so I start playing it the same speed all the way through.

Hmm.. hard to say.. any time I begin to write a song, it usually ends up sounding horribly depressing. But the last two I wrote would work well as rock songs with a metal influence.. maybe being a little more melodic than your average rock song.

Haha, that's a good song, I can play Fur Elise, Moonlight Sonata, and Bach's First Prelude in Fugue.. that's about as far as my Classical knowledge goes though :/

hmm.. I think, since it's a coffee house setting, you should stick with the acoustic version. I almost like Flyleaf better acoustic than I do electric. She really does have a beautiful voice. But that's cool, how long you taken guitar?

Hmm.. I think I'd have to say my favorite LS song is Reject, then maybe In Christ and Obstruction. And yes, I do know what you mean, although I myself have never played in a coffee shop, my sister has. Haha I can't really imagine her screaming a metal song either. Yes, I do really like Second Thief, they have some good stuff!

Thanks! Yeah, Second Thief is amazing. Brainwashed was really good, maybe even heavier than Prelude. Certainly the guitar was heavier and had more groove to it. You should pick it up if you haven't already! If you ever need any recommendations of Christian metal or rock just let me know!
