Yeah I know what you mean about the sound, Anthony seemed a bit down in the mix at times, but apart from that... Totally with you on Run Into Flowers and We Own The Sky.... I think Teen Angst and Guitar and a Heart were sooo good though. All four of them were highlights I'd have to say. The relaxed nature of it was so good, I know what you mean about that. It was nice to be away from hobart and uni as well haha. But yeah, those french know how to impress, surely. The Do were super fun as well, I agree with the climax came a bit early in the night with m83 playing first, their intensity couldn't be matched by the do, but it was all good still. I think maybe Anthony is very humble, maybe he doesn't like headlining? Very much worth the trip over though :D Have you got any other gigs coming up or anything? I'd love to see Deerhunter in June and The Flaming Lips in July...

Well yeah, I mean it is what I enjoy doing (writing, not slacking, although that can be okay in moderation). So it seemed a sensible choice for me, and honestly, why do something which you don't enjoy. I don't see how people in economics and finance get any satisfaction from what they do. Different people, though. You enjoying architecture? M83 so soon :D

Yeah all very valid points! It would be so hard to keep up with everything going on in Melbourne, but at least all my favourite artists would pass through eventually. Hobart is getting more attention lately, that's true. We just don't have the population to generate crowds for a lot of those international/bigger Aussie acts. Lack of decent venues also hurts as well - although I do give credit to the Brisbane for doing something about that. But I like it how the Hobart scene is so tightly knit. That's something that would be threatened if it does inflate too much :( Haha, here I go with my essay length comments. I am guessing that you are a Hobart native then? Or have some affiliation with Hobart?

Red is always good - in relation to last.fm, at least. I am indeed making the trip over from sad little Hobart to see M83. Can't wait! Last time they were over they played a 20 minute set in support of Midnight Juggernauts. I didn't see that, but hopefully we get a bigger set than that haha. Also wouldn't mind seeing the Flaming Lips in July. Poor Hobart gets neglected from these things :(

Photoshop IS brilliant, but at the same time i kind of hate it...i mean, imagine how much more of a challenge it would be to take an incredibly photo if photoshop didnt exist. These days "good photos" are two a penny (that might be an stupidly british phrase, i don't think even half of young people over here know what it means). Where would you think of studying abroad? Well we only went to Sydney, Byron and just outside of Canberra, i really loved Sydney as a city, but byron was great for a week for a massive chill out. But i loved Australia. It's like England, but a bit better. I'm from the midlands, live just in a town next to the town where Shakesphere was born. Less interesting than it might not seem.
