Oh yeah, they're amazing. What album(s) of theirs did you listen to?

You too, I'm diggin' your tastes. I see you're listening to "...Like Clockwork", how does that stand up to the other QotSA albums?

HELLO THERE!

thanks for the add, yo

Glad to hear you like 'em! Be sure to check out Steven Wilson's other projects and especially his solo work. There's a pretty good chance you'll like it, and it's a great "in" to prog rock.

Thanks for the recs! Looking at your top artists/tracks, check out Love as Laughter, specifically their albums Holy and Laughter's Fifth

;_; wished we were super compatible

Well, for prog rock I'd say you should definitely check out Porcupine tree because they seem right up your alley. I'm also going to recommend King Crimson because they're my favourite band, you could start with In The Court... but don't be put off if that doesn't do it for you, they change their sound completely every three or so albums so it's still likely you'll find something to like. As for Jazz, that's a huge genre with completely different kinds of sounds that I'm not confident enough about to give recs for like that. You should check out Jazzthreadguy's jazz sharethreads and ask him, he's pretty damn knowledgeable. Avant-garde isn't a genre per se, but if you're interested in prog, I'd say avant-prog would be as good a place to start as any. Art Bears are great and very accessible, so give them a listen and if you like that, go on to Henry Cow. I hope I was of any help ;)

And what genres would those be?

oh no that's not good for your tracks per day but in the end i guess it doesn't matter

Since MF Doom is your top listened rapper, you might want to start with those similar to him like J Dilla, Quasimoto, and Madlib or just listen to his side-projects (Dangerdoom, Madvillain, Viktor Vaughn).

only 40 plays of your top artist :0

maybe, i think i've listened to them once? lol it's been a while, i'm on a the band perry listening spree right now , weeeeeeeee
