Selam! Congratulations on obtaining the '>1111 artists played' milestone :-) ... I discovered you in the "Discovery Leaderboard" section (May 15-21), you are at #2 place there (I am in the Scrobble LB): last DOT fm/user/blowhorn/listening-report/week ... How are you doing on your side of the globe ? I guess you and your family also avoid public crowds lately in these pandemic times, same as us here in good old Germany... Stay safe and keep on scrobbling, Farbod

Yes I saw the instagram of some friends of yours, without doubt they play very well. 'yannfreire' is my instagram with a cartoon in the profile photo :P I was here reading the messages on your page and one of these messages you're talking about working on an EP, that's really cool! I took advantage and went to your page on the soundcloud, I heard one of the songs that you composed for the theater. Although you say it was by improvisation you nailed it! congratulations! You must have been very proud when you saw the complete work, right?

Pretty cool looking thing. Looks a bit like a futuristic keyboard as imagined and designed by Apple.

Hi. I'm okay, currently melting down to the very core due to the heat wave we're having. How are you?

Yeah, I know that one. They're nice. You should try Heroin And Your Veins, another dark jazz band with slightly psychedelic touches.

I find it hard to give you a really interesting recommendation, because you seem to be interested in completely different fields of music. Maybe if you could point me in the right direction as to what kind of things you're looking to try out? Psychedelic? Fuzzy wah-wah madness? Sleazey rock 'n' roll? Banging electro? Something else?

I am a pianist who wants to try new things and as you can see in my profile most of the tracks are classic or jazz or maybe a little rock but I really want to know about new styles of music .... you know I rather to listen what you more more intrested in . ( I mean your favorite )

First off, I would recommend one of my favourite bands, a Dutch group called Nits. They have been active for almost 40 years and have covered tons of styles and genres. I don't know if you use Spotify, but all of their work is on there. I would look beyond their hits, though, as I find those much less interesting than some of the deeper cuts. I could give you a list of specific songs to check out, if you'd like. Other than that, an interesting group to check out is Pram. They make exotic, eerie music with a really interesting aesthetic. Kind of like a child having a bad dream. Check out songs like 'Cinnabar', 'El Topo', 'The Mermaids Hotel' and 'The Pawnbroker'.
