Ah. Well, good luck finding them. Might be kinda hard. But, it won't be impossible. About a year ago I reconnected with an old friend who moved to El Paso years ago. And just so you know, El Paso is closer to California than it is Houston, I think :P

Ahh. Well, I've met a few Canadians here. I live in Houston. Kingwood, specifically. Probably doesn't ring a bell, but eh, you'd be surprised at who knows who sometimes :P

Man, I know what you mean with the time and money thing :/ You can't contact your friend at all? No myspace/facebook or anything like that? What part of Texas did your friend move to?

Yeah, I guess that's true. But don't feel too bad about missing out on good tours, I can't go to most shows anyway. My parents don't want me going to too many of them, and I have to listen because they're paying half of my college tuition. So I can't complain. I'm from Texas, by the way. About as far from Canada as you can get (aside from Hawaii :P)

Ah. Well, when I think of Canada, I think of my grandmother's house, over in London. It's a real small town so everything is really calm and laid back, and it's a nice break from the hectic city life (even though I live in the suburbs). I'd probably get bored if I stayed there for too long though :P Don't certain Canadian cities have huge metal/hardcore scenes? There's tons of Canadian bands I like.

Haha maybe so. BTW, Canada is a pretty cool place. I've been there a lot.
