It turns out we are planning to go to the final Maschinenfest in October, also planning to see Fields of the Nephilim in a tiny little town called Coesfeld in Germany not far from the Dutch border. Nitzer Ebb's newest, Industrial Complex, is great! It combines the sound that made That Total Age a favorite with with the more industrial vibe of Showtime. Add in a more modern technology and some live drums with the fast bass synth... It's what I have have been hoping to hear from them for 17 years, ever since I was disappointed with Ebbhead!

I like that Spetsnaz is brought back what made Nitzer Ebb good. Have you heard NE's new album?

The new Tyske Ludder album is pretty cool. As far as more ambient stuff goes, i'm loving a band called Pantheon Legio Musica at the moment, and I'm in love with a band called Rome...def check them out. In fact, i'm going to order their brand new album with this order.

Ha ha. Ya, there's overlap. Especially if my lists included all of my pre-last.fm listening (instead we cover my experimental pop phase nicely). As a side-note, possibly one of my most embarrassing musical moments involved drunkenly heckling the Violent Femmes, who I was never exactly a fan of, but still...

Gig in Melbourne was awesome. Covenant were a bit disappointing but Daniel Myer totally stole the show. Diary of Dreams were much better than the last time I saw them too. Got tix for Gary Numan in march now! I reset my play count way back in may. Some of the things in my old charts were kinda annoying me.

Yeah would be awesome if you could come along too. Flights are comparatively cheap if you book now. See Birthday Massacre are playing in Melbourne in november too :). I am sooo looking forward to finally seeing Covenant live, and Haujobb again...they were awesome last time!
