Ros, I thought your whole 'about me' blurb was really funny, Well good funny y'know. I wear glasses too & would never stick a lens on my eye. Ears are cooler anyway, imho. Have you heard 'Mirrored' by Battles. Maybe you tube it cos the videos have some great lighting by, some Light collective ppl. Chess lesson 1: Pawns can move one square forward except on their first move, on which they can move 2 squares. That's the only time they can move 2 squares. (If this is too basic- then be aware that the central 4 squares of the board are generally considered to be the most important to occupy or control). Ducks can move anywhere,anytime, annihilate all other pieces and force a draw. Or just hassle all the breadcrumbs you have on you. :)

Hi! Thanks for the info. I called yesterday and initially they said that's what they were going to do, but then after putting me on hold they said that the cut off for this particular venue (the academy) was 4pm yesterday. What's annoying is they also said wait till 48hrs before the even t before you call up - so there was only a like 10 hr window (when I was at work) for me to call in. It sucks, but what am I gonna do? : (

Roight you are! I will tackle them forthwith in THAT PRECISE ORDER. I am currently rather addicted to the Tallest Man on Earth's new album which is entitled "The Wild Hunt". It's really rather mind blowing. If you've a penchant for acoustic music (or banjo wielding Swedish men with raspy voices - who doesn't?!) then you can't go wrong. Also, try Fang Island for music that makes you want to high 5 strangers in the street, just in case that's your thing. I am also moist for the National's new album.

Unless the website is lying and you're subject to major scrobbleage misreadings then I see you like the Mountain Goats. I've been meaning to listen to this music too. Where should I start, do you think? Your guidance would be very much appreciated thank you.
