If you haven't heard Lotus Plaza's new album released last month, you definitely should check it out… I think it's up your street being shoegaze/dreampop/indie and it is AMAZING in my opinion. Have you heard anything you love from 2012 releases so far? Hope you're set for a good summer Ely!

I mean the colours and the balance between light & dark. the pictures don't seem to have been edited in the post processing, but look well balanced and rife with colours nonetheless. all I have is a Nikon D80 with the standardized 18-135mm zoom lens.

ah, I see, but do prime lenses really make such a difference in optical quality?

I have a question regarding your photos (and I thought I drop it in here, because shouts are quicker to accomplish than e- or flickr-mails). your photos have a natural look to them. do you also use post-editing software like Lightroom or Photoshop?

I'm a pretty big fan of TT. At some of the shows their sound was just too loud and I think their melodies got a little lost for some people, but when their sound is good live they're really great. I love "Gray Waves," "Red Fox Run," "Everyday," "Passive Idol," etc. etc. They are awesome people, too. I miss them!

Ah, the drum kit jump. I saw a YouTube video of Malk doing that at the end of Unfair, in the middle of the gig! It was fantastic. I'm excited for Pitchfork -- finally got my ticket in the mail last week. I wouldn't mind an extra Midwest date too, although I'm not sure if the tour is finalized yet. Agh! We need the board now!

At times like this, I wish the board has an administrator or something! Glad to hear that the recent shows have been good though. I get a tad nervous seeing SM grumpy, but I guess anyone would be a little temperamental in that situation. I'll see them twice. Once at Pitchfork and once in Minnesota. My first time. Can't wait.
