Hey Marissa! Hope you are doing well. Have you heard Mumford and Sons? I saw them on the Grammys, they are now on constant rotation. Thought you might like them...they are bluegrassy with a touch of indie rock...but I will preface this by saying I love pretty much anything with a banjo...

It was a good show. There were about six or seven new songs that were all of epic length (and headed in the same stylistic direction as "You Are the Blood" from the Dark Was the Night compilation). I could have used a longer set and more of the classics, but that's just me being picky. All things considered, he's worth seeing in concert again.

honestly not really sure about the hotel thing...just look on a travel site maybe to find cheap hotels in chicago....if you are just looking to hang out in the area and not spend a ton of money on the room, i wouldn't worry about trying to find a really nice hotel...the mid grade ones are all kinda the same...and the rael nice ones are expensive...i know there are sites that have travelers reviews and stuff right? sorry i wish i could be more help i never stay in chicago hotels lol

haha yeah i definitely want to. that sounds sweet. i missed the minus the bear tour, unforunately. i saw rxb last summer but that was before i liked them, so this tour should be great. portugal the man always gets on the best tours. they toured with thursday/circle takes the square and with rocky votolato, all of whom are great.

hello, I really like Radiohead. It all started when I first saw the Karma Police music video. oh has the time flew by. High five about the terrible memory. If arms were removable; then I would walk around armless all the time..

it's one guy actually, from ireland. a bit like damien rice but a bit also like simon + garfunkel and bob dylan. a lot good i would say. and yeh, the smashing pumpkins did not disappoint. it was pretty rock and had some early stuff from siamese dream, but it was amazing seeing bc in the flesh playing guitar the way he does. one of the gigs of the year i'd say. cfx

Mine have been here for a little while. I'm so freaking excited for the show, I've been listening to RBF & LTJ heavily at work.

Orgy is one of my all time favorite bands. I saw them twice and both times it was unbelievable. Did you see them in '05?
