Yea, finally, in 2005...

Ha, sadly the National gig is a hopeful "attending". Desperately seeking a ticket that costs less than 30 quid (hopefully days before the gig they'll drop...erk). Gorillaz though I'm very excited about, taking my sister as a reward for finally listening to decent music. Yeasayer were STONKING. One of the best band's I've ever seen! 2080 in the encore was incredible (I sadly was with the guy who kept shouting it out...)

Hi! I am not bad thanks, trying to do an essay too, about French poetry...bleurgh! I find that Rachel's is a particularly lovely band to work to - my favourite of their albums is Systems/Layers, but I've not heard their other stuff all that much. Try also Benoit Pioulard (if you search for him on here, the "i" in Benoit has a hat on it), and Peter Broderick - Docile, and Float. His album Home is also great, but it has words in, and I can't do work to wordy music! But when you've finished working and you want to listen to some insanely sexy French music, listen to Serge Gainsbourg. I'm having a love affair with him this week! Any recommendations you can return? x
