I've never actually watched Dexter or Mad Men before. I've always wanted to watch Dexter but for some reason I just never have. I think you should watch the second season of Flight Of The Conchords, it's so good! Not too sure about it being as good as the first one but still, it's worth watching. They've only come to London twice and I've missed them both times :( Not sure if they'll come back but I've got to say, I totally agree with what you said about Kanye - not too keen on his personality but his music is amazing.

There were only two seasons, they cancelled it this year but they said they'll still make music. I was so upset by that. But I have to say, the first season was slightly better than the second but I loved them both. So what's your favourite tv show then? Yeah I heard the morning benders were going to australia in the new year, I think you should still go if you can, I only went with like one person and we met them and stuff so it was definitely worth it ^^ Hope you had a good christmas too and a have a happy new year. Oh by the way, I finally got round to listening to the whole of Kanye West's new album, it's amazing! I absolutely love lost in the world. It's like my favourite song right now.

yes it is flight of the conchords! I absolutely love them, I was so gutted when they cancelled the show. To be honest, they weren't huge in the UK but they're pretty well known, are they really big in Australia? I have to say I'm much more of a summer person, the heat's so much better than the cold. Apparently it's going to snow again at the weekend -_- I only like snow when I'm at school because sometimes they cancel school but now I'm on holiday so it doesn't affect it anymore. I wish I was in Tokyo too, I'm guessing it's easier to get there from where you are, than it is for us, it's like the other side of the world. Top Gear's amazing by the way, I didn't think I would like it when I first watched it because I'm not really a car person but it's great. You should at least give it a chance.

Snow isn't that great to be honest, well it is at first; everyone gets really excited and then it either turns to ice or keeps on snowing for a week or so and everyone gets really annoyed. Today's my third day off school, I think this is probably the longest time off we've had because of snow. The sad thing is, teachers are now e-mailing us work. Those Nigerians in tokyo sound creepy, they sound a bit like the illegal immigrants that always crowd around the Eiffel tower trying to sell you crappy souvenirs. They made me feel really uncomfortable, but then again I do feel bad for them, they sort of have to do it because there's no other way for them to make money. I would have expected Tokyo to be expensive though, it sure does look expensive but worth the money it seems. And I can't believe you guys have top gear, that's awesome, I thought they only show it in England.

My exams never seem to end to be honest, most of them are made up by the school so they can track our progress but I have proper ones in january. I was supposed to be having a physics test today but school's closed for the second day in a row! Because it's been snowing so much, so that means more time to procrastinate - I mean revise. OMG Tokyo sounds amazing, how long were you there for? I think I've heard about their amazing trains before, they went there on an episode of top gear (this car show, don't know if you've heard of it but it's so good), it looked absolutely amazing. I want to go even more now ^^ Glad you enjoyed yourself!

Sorry it took me like a year to reply to your message, I've had so much work to do I haven't been on last fm for weeks. But yeah loads of british people, at least, love australian accents, our school get australian gap students every year so I've sort of gotten used to it now, It's a much more interesting accent than English accents in my opinion. I'm guessing you've already left now seeing as you sent me that message weeks ago. How's it going?

I don't speak it well at all, I used to learn it at school but I dropped it three years ago because I hated my teacher. I realised most of the time I tried to say something I ended up speaking german - it was so embarrassing. Sadly English is the only language I can speak fluently. I wish I learnt languages earlier- like while I was learning English, that would have been great. It's so much harder to learn things when you're older but it's not impossible. I've always wanted to move somewhere else when I'm older, like Canada, France or Japan, but I'd have to learn the languages first, which would be so much effort. Where would you want to live if you didn't live in Australia?

You're so lucky you're going to Japan, I would go but no one else in my family really want to so I'll probably go when I'm in university like you ^^ Have a great time! I mainly go to France tbh, and Sweden and Austria because I have family there but it gets kind of boring after a while, I like going to new places. Have you been to Europe before? The french people I spoke to weren't really snobby, I always tried to speak French at least, then they would realise I wasn't french and just speak English. I felt so pathetic. But yeah if you can go to Canada, you should, I love it, although there isn't heaps to do. I mean they have Niagara Falls, the CN Tower, Toronto Island etc. but I've never stayed there more than two weeks. There's enough stuff to do over two weeks, if that makes sense XD Travelling's awesome, but up until this year, I really hated going on holiday to Europe, just because it's so close, I preferred long plane journeys.

I have to say Spanish is better than German. It just sounds nicer and more people speak it, it's a good choice. I never had the chance to learn Spanish, if I did I would have definitely taken it, so I think you should ^^. I know what you mean about the maths and stuff, I'm really not looking forward to that side of architecture, I just want to design stuff really but nothing's perfect I guess. I've always wanted to learn Japanese too, I tried to teach myself the summer before the last and I failed miserably. I can't believe you might be going there, I've been wanting to go to japan for so long! I'm sure you'll have an amazing time if you do end up going. But yeah I do travel quite a bit, recently I've just travelled around England and Europe and stuff. I just got back from Paris actually, that's why it's taken me so long to reply sorry. But the last long plane journey I had was to Canada the summer before the last, which was great. How about you, do you travel often?

Commerce/liberal studies sounds interesting, I'm not studying economics or politics at the moment but my friends who are, love it. Well at least the parties and stuff make up for the work, I'm not looking forward to final exams and stuff but I have to get through A-levels first at least. I want to be an Architect, it's a pretty long course but I like designing and stuff and it's a lot more reliable than just studying art or something. Which language might you study? I'm doing German at the moment, I know everyone always talks about how bad it is but I actually like it. So I'd suggest it if you haven't already chosen. I've always wanted to learn Japanese and Spanish though. You're one of the only Flobots fans I've found so far XD I know what you mean about no one wanting to go to a gig with you, it can be so frustrating but also it's kind of nice having some bands only you love. I guess I'm kind of selfish.

Yep, that's A-levels - slowly ruining my life as we speak :/ So what are you studying at University? I've heard so much about the parties and stuff, it sounds fun, although I bet the work isn't. Work ruins everything. I really like Skinny Love too, it's my favourite so far, though I haven't finished listening to their album yet, I'll try to tomorrow if I can. Have you heard of Flobots, I'm listening to them quite a lot at the moment, they're kind of hip hop but they're a bit different. I don't know if you'll like them but I know you like Drake and people so I thought I'd suggest them to you. Combat's a really good song of theirs. And thanks, it's true, my friends do have a big impact on the sort of music I listen to, I'm sure yours do too. But I do listen to quite a lot of bands that my friends don't like or haven't heard of which is a shame :( That's why I like last.fm so much, there are so many people who like the same music as you, it's great!

Well I've finished compulsory education but I still go to school, I'm doing my A-levels at the moment. Do you go to school or uni or something? I absolutely love Cee-lo green's new song but I only heard the original song a few days ago, I've been listening to the radio edit, I had no idea there was another version LOL. And I just listened to Kanye West's new song, it's so good, much better than most of the stuff he's released recently in my opinion. I haven't listened to many Bon Iver songs before but I've just heard woods - it's so good, I think I prefer Kanye's though, because it's a bit more upbeat. But I think i'll listen to more of their songs now XD I know I've said this before but you have very good taste.

GO!! They're amazing live - one of my favourites, and yes I would go to that line up, Cee-lo green's amazing! Although I haven't heard of Miike Snow, is he any good? Sorry for the late reply too, I've had so much work to do. Luckily I have half term in a few weeks, so I get a bit of a break. It isn't enough though :/

I still haven't finished watching the VMAs, I've been watching it in little parts because I've had so much work to do at the moment but so far it's been great. And I love your lineup choices - Best Coast are amazing, I only started listening to them a month or two ago but they're great and Pheonix obviously. I like hip hop too but tbh I prefer listening to beastie boys and run dmc more than new stuff although I've just started listening to drake, he's quite good. I've spent this evening mostly listening to The Morning Benders, I forgot how much I love them XD

Well bands don't play music 24/7 but the first band started around midday and the last finished just before midnight but they had loads of other stuff for you to do too, like the funfair and stuff and loads of people had parties like every night, it was crazy XD Yeah I know, festivals are quite expensive, my ticket was about £180 and I had to save up and pay for it myself but it was fun (apart from the ridiculous amount of mud and bruises I got). Who would you want to headline Splendour next year?

RayRayooo
That last.fm festival idea you had is so good! Now all we need to do is somehow get them to do it XD Weezer were amazing, they played all their old songs which was good because I hate when you go to see a band and they only play songs off their new album that you haven't heard yet. They played one from their new album, though, it was called Memories, I really liked it, they also played Beverly Hills, Island in the sun, Pork and Beans, My name is Jonas and Buddy Holly at the end which was so good. We had to camp out there for like 4 nights and it wasn't that bad. You should try going to Splendour in the Grass next year, it sounds like so much fun :D I really want to go to Reading again - the tickets are already on sale actually, but I don't want to buy them until I know who's playing. I really really want No Doubt to headline even but I doubt that'll happen.

Yeah, I saw them at Reading, it's so awesome! My favourite performances were Blink 182, Darwin Deez, Pheonix and Weezer. Weezer are one of my favourite bands and this is the first time I've been able to see them live, they were actually amazing and so were Blink. It was such a tiring weekend though, I'm still shattered but at least I didn't get this flu people keep going on about. A last.fm festival would be epic, but I'm not quite sure how it would happen seeing as everyone lives so far away from eachother :(

I'm sorry it took me nearly a week to reply to your last post, I was at a music festival. I saw Phoenix perform, they were amazing! I only knew listomania but to be honest I liked all the songs they played, I'm going to put them on my ipod in a second. But not all British people have good taste in music - actually, in my opinion most people I talk to don't XD Sometimes I had to really beg people to go to see bands with me, it was annoying. Going to a festival with people from last fm would be so much better.

I've been wanting to see Vampire Weekend for a while now, they were playing at a festival this year and my friend and I were going to go but the tickets were sold out :( I bet they were so good though, and I know what you mean about gigs. There are so many bands I wish I could have seen when I was younger, like before they broke up or got kind of crap but you know. And I love sentimental heart too! I can't believe so many people on hear like the same sort of music as me, quite a lot of my friends haven't heard of half the bands/songs I love.

It wasn't hard, I just sent one of my friends a link to that Excuses live session video they made (I don't know if you've seen it but it's amazing) and she really liked it and I think she introduced them to a few of my other friends so now quite a lot of my friends like them, which is a bit weird seeing as they don't really listen to quite of the music I like. But yeah, you could try that. They're really good live, hopefully you'll be able to see them soon. I knew you were joking about the kangaroos btw, I just thought I would go along but isn't it Winter in Australia at the moment? Isn't the weather supposed to be like that (I might be wrong but that's what I heard from somewhere). It's supposed to be summer here but the weather's still awful :/

I didn't realise you listen to the morning benders too, that's so awesome. I know what you mean there aren't many of us around, I've managed to get most of my friends to listen to them though. We went to see them about a month ago and got to meet them and stuff, they're so nice. Have they come to Australia yet? I know they just finished touring Europe so if they haven't I'm sure they'll go to Australia soon. I'm from London by the way, it's alright not as cool as towns in Australia though, seeing as we don't have Kangaroos and the weather's definitely not as good :(
