I think you will like this band! KeepAway... like Animal Collective, but more accessible.

Dude, that's sweet.

Hmm haven't given it a proper listening but I tell you what, Bibio's newbie sounds great pretty much straight away... as does the new Machine Drum mixtape... what you doing in the UK...? Playing? Make a boat and float downunder!

Did I tell you I went to the Atlas Sound show in Sydney? It was pretty awesome. His rendition of Quarantined was a little unusual as he used a different backing track, but Bradford has such a warm stage persona and his songs are so atmospheric that he really drew everyone in. Heard the new Sunset Rubdown yet?

I hear yr playing with us in London? Fun!

I'm trying to make a Mickstape but G'band is being shit to me and I don't have enough space on the computerio to dload the latest system update ):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAwR6w2TgxY&feature=player_embedded Even better when watched on youuuutuuuube... http://www.yooouuutuuube.com/v/?rows=36&cols=36&id=pAwR6w2TgxY&startZoom=1

The Longer U Wait is such a great song.

Dude, you gotta check out Deastro. He put up some of his music here for free dload: http://deastroband.blogspot.com/2008/04/free-music.html And check out the Ghostly Swim vid that made me wanna move to Detroit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIoykGil6Uk Some sick show footage at end... Wish you'd told me you were doing mixtapes! I'm totally getting onto those right now!

good sound! good taste.

hey man, enjoying the e.p, are you planning on coming to london at any point? and am i right in thinking young turks have signed you?

aaah ofcourse caribou! theyre my #1 haha

you like SVIIB nice!

Wow..I have flooded yr shoutbox. Just wanted to holler and see what was new with you and the music.

So then what program do you use to DL?

Do you have a soulseek account?

Have you been listening to the new Portishead? I am reluctant to do so.

I listened to your tunes in space. Dig uhm.

Do you prefer the new version of Song for Ariel or the original...? I like this one, I think it's happier, but I did love the original, even though I only had a poorly recorded version...

"Oh, just a little something I whipped up when I was bored." Fucking cool. Heard the new Animal Collective yet...?

Ah! Women! Nice. Dude how's the songmaking going..? I was listening to Panda Bear the other night and it made me think of you, hehehe... got any new tracks/pop quizzes? Eh? Eh? Saw Fleet Foxes and The Dodos the other night. The Dodos were exactly as I expected, was so looking forward to their high-energy set. And Fleet Foxes' harmonies were incredible. Saw the new artwork on yer MySpazz - it's awesome, who did it?

new song is SICK. i love how ethereal your music is. i usually sleep to grouper and wake up to dog bite.

good deal. how's the recording going?

so, i was totally just taking an educated guess when i wrote that you sampled madvillain. good guess on my part. :D

Apart from Chad, not really, more so revisiting artists I already like, and listening to their new offerings/remixes. I can't wait for the summer holidays - I will be spending a lot more time on the internet looking for new stuff! Or maybe going to the beach ;) Yeah, I watched a really interesting program on the election tonight, called Insight, it's an Aussie program, they were having an open forum with young people about the American Dream... you should look it up... Very interesting indeed... So, any musical recommendations?

Damn... the lack of new line-age in these paragraphs just makes me look like a psycho freak with far too much energy and a restless mind! But I guess that's partially true.

lol @ Growing's LSD interview in Vice... P.S. Why do small fruit flies always seem to hover around, and fly into, my eyes/mouth? Am I missing out on something? How's the presidential election going? You voting? Yeasayer in less than a week!

Thanks! You too. Dog Bite's my morning soundtrack.

Like your music, Phil

It's totally Phasebook :S P.S. Thanks for the heads up about Cloudland :D

In addition, have you stumbled upon My Milky Way Arms yet...? I have a feeling you will dig.

http://www.vbs.tv/video.php?id=533256408

I am envious. Closest they are playing to me is a 5 hour drive.

Diggin your charts d00d. Dan Deacon is silly retarded fun live, if you get the chance to see that man, TAKE IT.

Wish I could hop, skip and jump to NY! My fave'd have to be Courtship Dating... what is it going to be, a slow folky number? That'd be sa-weeeeet...

Niiiiiiiiice. Are you into Ariel Pink at all? I don't have much of his stuff but I really love it. I'm also getting into God Is An Astronaut - they're a lot like Explosions in the Sky.. The Helio Sequence are also fast becoming a fave of mine... but enough about me, hah!! How's the musicmaking?

Ahhhhh Growing!! Awesommmeeeeeee... have you seen the installation they did with Rose Kallal? It's shitty quality, but http://youtube.com/watch?v=9siC11IVpAw

Hahaha, fine with me :)

Ah, brillo!

dont i know it! you too have fantastic taste! cheers to us and our good taste.

I reckon we should start posting dvd compilations to each other via post :D It's been a while since I received something via snail mail... Sort of like musical penpals, heh.

You get those profiles where it's like, yeah, so we have a high compatibility; we listen to the same things, blah. Then you get the ones that make you wanna diversify your musical taste. Yours is the latter!

Yes :) I must recommend Belong to you, that is if you have not yet heard them - http://www.myspace.com/belongmusic esp. Late Night... I will say no more, listen and tell me what you think...

High already! Off to a great start, my man.

Machine Gun and Small off the new portishead album are such great tracks. Small especially. I feel like I'm floating in fucking space.
