The Kevin Shields remaster of Primal Scream's Screamadelica is floating around now. It's really worth checking out if you're into that album.

I've been lately kinda lazy exploring new music. But I would recommend Katharsis's first album 666. It's actually really basic bm like the name suggests, but somehow the atmosphere is just right for my taste. I've been also listening to Guilty Connector's Beats, Noise & Life. It's a goofy name for an album but I think you should check it out. And if you don't already know this French psych-band Lard Free, you should definitely give it a try. I really enjoy their eponymous debut.

I enjoyed the Projects Ep by VVV. It sounded fresh to my ears. I'm not so sure about that Caspar & Rusko mix... I think it sounded a bit generic. Like some of those old breakbeat records I used to listen a way back. That kind of sound has been throughoutly commercialized in the past ten years and it's hard to get excited by it now. Maybe I should give it another try, though.

You seem to be digging deep into the world of dubstep... Any recs for the uninitiated? Charming new avatar btw.

Thanks! KEXP's a good station - lots of music and minimal chat. It's been an excellent discovery - the DJs here in the UK like the sound of their own voices a bit too much!
