i know you sent it a while ago :( but i was real sad i didn't make it to block party. I ended up in the ER right before it happened and was told to "take it easy" I'm going to the decemberist show in November, how bout you?

This year soon I be sailing to the Tokyo shores again (Tokyo game show) and visit Okinawa's taverns. But yeah, Portman's Shaved Head... mighty fine chanteys they make. Oh indeed, I totally agree with you, and even though I enjoy most of the Boris stuff, the prolonged and frequent quiet build-up parts kind of bring the energy levels down in a show like that. Oh btw, I think I saw your friend Ferg, but I'm not 100% sure if it was him... standing near me in like third row in front of the stage, on the side where bar is. If it was him, say hi and my apology for not doing it myself (too loud to talk anyways).

I did find him. He was off chasing some cute girls. Did you catch any of Steed Lord's set? That show was fucking bananas. I was in the very front and drenched in a beer and sweat medley by the end.

cftpa was pretty amazing, but the only new stuff he played was springsteen covers that I guess his brother and him recorded and put on an EP, so if you've seen him somewhat recently it's probably okay to miss.
