Thanks for your recs - I'll look into your Bon Iver suggestions especially. I did not take much notice of Sufjan until I was sorting through old podcasts over Christmas and found him recommended on the iTunes podcast of all places, by the Indigo Girls. You have a lot of scrobbles for Eddie Vedder's cover of YGTHYLA. The original is one of my very favourite vocal performances of Lennon, and I'm even not a huge fan of him to start with. I have not heard Vedder's rendition probably since the IAS soundtrack first came out. I'll give it another spin soon.

Ach du warst das hinter mir? Also ich hab ziemlich gut gesehen. Klangtechnisch gab's ja auch keinen Grund zur Klage. Und die setlist der Editors...ok, es hätte noch eine Stunde so weiter gehen können. Was hat dir denn außer der Sichtverschattung nicht gefallen? Ich kann's jetzt nicht vergleichen, den William hatte ich nun doch auslassen müssen. Man muss halt Prioriäten setzen. Gestern war ich dafür noch zu Yo la tengo in Berlin. Das war schon mehr als nett. Neben neuen auch ein paar richtig gute alte Sachen: Sugarcube z.B.... Gibt's deinerseits Konzertpläne für dieses Jahr? Es kommen ja noch einige gute Leute...

Par contre, je suis un grand mélomane ayant une préférence pour les grands (que dis-je, les majestueux!) Hendrix, Frusciante (RHCP) & Young... sans oublier un certain quatuor de Liverpool!
