Kim Oki though ;)

Metal band upvoted.

Done.

Hello there. Who is your avatar currently? She looks like a classic starlet whose name I probably already know.

It's a little late for a first impression, but I think MBV is fine, but Isn't Anything is better.

Damn, that festival you're going to looks sweet. Grouper is so strange.

Yea that was the problem. I keep forgetting to scrobble my ipod though and after 2 weeks you can't. I think it's been over a month. :(

I just realized yesterday that my comp has only sometimes been scrobbling for the past month andI hhaven't bothered to scrobble my ipod in awhile. Kinda over this

I haven't listened to it yet.

You have 208 fucking Nick Lowe plays in one week?

Yeah, I don't know - I might do that.

I put the composer in the composer section, and then look through composers on my iPod. It's not like Beethoven has a song called "adagio," either - it's just part of an entire piece. Just like an adagio is part of the entire piece of Karajan performing Beethoven's 5th.

It makes perfect sense. I wish on last.fm it would change it to just the conductor, though. Like 10 plays from Herbert van Karajan.

Really hard to decide but if I had to choose I would say Surf's Up.

I know that feel. That set is so dope so far though, I'm on d|lp 2.2

Wtf the year is almost over and we still waiting for Wolf

I've missed listening to Pavement.

I know that feel. I just listened to 3 songs by Nadja that were each as long as the entire Circle Jerks record I listened to earlier. Being patrician is tough.

Yea, that's bullshit. I feel like listening to boris' absolutega but it's an hour and only 1 track :(

Old swans was heavy, albums like filth, cop, and holy money. You should really listen to Soundtracks for the Blind, it's mostly instrumental, real post-rockish, except there's a few tracks that are completely out of place and different, somehow in a good way. There's a straight up 90's techno song and a hardcore punk track. I like how there are "normal" songs in the middle of crazy noiseish 30+ minute tracks. That girl is Jarboe, she's on a lot of Swans stuff.

I think i got it. What you think about seer

Thats crazy bc I found a dope ass trout mask wallpaper for my laptop the other day. How do I do that?

Copying me with the Beefheart streak?

Stay pleb

Yea there's singing sometimes. It's so dope.

>mfw you still haven't listened to AOTY, "The Seer"

It's not entirely on shuffle all of the time...

Holy shit, you're right.

rofl. I saw their new album leaked so I gave it a shot, it was shitty. Then I decided to nostalge with In Keeping Secrets. It still rocks

Is the new Godspeed that good? And Death Grips?

Nah my real favorite is Dylan and the Dead

Ya... we can pretend that's true...

Damn. My dad's dad didn't think much of his music, but he didn't stop him from listening to it. I can imagine those 4-paned comics with "what's all this racket up here son?"

Despite me having 103,000 more plays than you...amazing.

Can we date?

Yes, I totally remember that scene. I was even thinking Fellini.

Who's you?

I was going to comment on how strange that seemed, but my mother's never been that into music either. She likes Dean Martin though, so das cool

Yeah Marina's amazing, too bad Electra Heart isn't as good as her first album

Well you still have more Philip Glass than GOOD Music, so it's not that bad

It's pretty dope actually. Love To the World and Clique. And it looks familiar, but I don't think I recognize it. Who is it?

Yeah, dad's pretty rad. Got me into some good stuff; Zappa, Philip Glass, Talking Heads, Steely Dan, Joy Division

Now we are niggas

Do what thou wilt

Shit dude, retag your Cruel Summer so the artist is G.O.O.D. Music

rad. I started with Koyaanisqaatsi. Saw him perform it live with the Bergen Philharmonic, shit was pretty rad. I haven't really gotten into Steve Reich properly yet. My dad rec'd The Desert Music, but I haven't given it a proper listen

Philip Glass ma nigga
