the 5th season could've been better than it was. it was shorter than the other seasons so stories weren't as detailed and characterizations were rushed. the media storyline was kinda prescient but also an attack against simon's former newspaper bosses. i remember people were worried that so much was going to be put on a bunch of new kid characters. especially since the show was almost canceled after season 3. but as you said, the kids.....i dunno, just something else, really. the whole show is just something else, y'know. i mean....one of the best moments of the entire series is a former druggie walking up a flight of stairs and sitting at a table. thin line between heaven and here and he was finally able to cross it.

Haha yes I am pretty stuck on singer/songwriters it seems!! I should definitely branch out. I realized all my stuff is so outdated. I mostly listen on my ipod these days and my software to scrobble was out of date. Anyway hopefully soon my more recent musical tastes will be reflected :) Now I'm off to look at your music and find some new stuff to listen to!
