good idea, I will do that too

:)

don't leave me again :(((

hi!

Youth Novel is one of those artists that is perpetually on my backlog. I adore the new Heavenly Blue, and so I should get to it sooner rather than later. The new heavenly blue is one of my favorites in a year when I haven't been impressed by a lot of screamo. I like how cathartic and chaotic it is!

i felt so

its a great album!

I used to listen to a lot of screamo a couple of months ago and would love to find new stuff or things nobody had heard of in 20 years. My listening has gone down a whole lot since then but I still enjoy spending hours on bandcamp or old forums/blogs from time to time

thanks. the Basque is a great release!

You have an incredibly neat library! Any recommendations?

For grind check out: 2'o clock girlfriend or October skyline. I'm less interested in grind these days, so you might know these. Something you may dig though, is Bremen hardcore - specifically check out Mörser and Systral. Closest thing I can think of to describe them is death grind meets screamo. As for powerviolence, I've been spinning Moral Bombing and the first Xiao EP.

I clenched the railing. it all went through me. i was astounded by your beauty. my vision was enhanced, ridden with anxiety, but i couldn't sit quietly. compelled to heal you, your scars were burning. you were so undeserving. a kiss couldn’t suffice. require patience, i want to pay reparations. will it ever be enough, my settlement? because my passion's so immense, this sentiment. guaranteed that our secrets are always kept? then i'm sure this love was always meant to be. you know what this means to me? troubles have been dispelled and to think i’ve never felt so sure. i'm ready for a plague, desolate forever, as long as we leave together.

I love chatgpt

If you dig screamo from the late 90s/early 00s, I've been spinning a lot of Devola and Takaru. Makara and Standing 8 are also pretty sick. For much more recent picks, I would say try Kokeshi - sort of blackened metalcore / screamo hybrid from Japan, or Weak Wrists, who put out one of my favorite records in 2016.

I would say that although In Loving Memory is one of my favorite screamo artists, I still prefer the Discography comp. I haven't listened to much that's not hardcore, so I'll have to check most of those out. As for my picks, I adored the Initiate record, but New Forms and Olth aren't far behind. As for more metal / grindcore leaning picks, the Predatory Void and Closet Witch albums are pretty good.

hell yeah, great taste. Neil Perry's Lineage Situation is one of my favorite discography compilations!

HI

HELLO IVA

Hi!!!!!! Hope all is well

Late reply, but I don't. I have something that's tagged as an 8 song demo, which I can send.

😌

hell yeah

where's my sex on the beach

I THOUGHT IT WAS TODAY, and so i showed up to an empty chapel :((

I'm not falling for it

I def have files for one of their EPs - Pessimistic Tourist. I'll have to look for their other stuff but it should be on YouTube - here's Everything is Inside My Heart and Everything is Same as Nothing (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2XxfkZmHwc) and here's their split (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apmin8LHvuk). I don't know much about them other than they were probably one of the first Japanese screamo acts alongside Kulara and Bonescratch. Discogs says they have two other 7", but I haven't seen them around at all. I would say their sound, compared to Envy, isn't as dark and quite easy to listen to.

what would be the best way to scrobble them or even better make them into local files if its possible

didn't like it...seemed like it was too plain and not energetic enough :(((

i liked a few tracks!

i do listen to a fair bit im a big fan of twice, aespa and fromis_9

digging around a lot! some stuff is from old blogs/archives/slsk and so on. Is there anything specific you are looking for?

i am :jess1ca._.

hell yeah, I adore all three of them!! the new JD and Ostraca were really good!

yesss the new Ostraca is wilddd i'm listening to it again rn

might be a kopper now, who cares about screamo

hell yeah, I've been enjoying kpop a lot recently. The new Dreamcatcher EP and the fromis_9 record have been on constant replay
