Lucky you =). Which show in Amsterdam did you go to? Cause I went to one too, long ago. It was Epica's DYU release Party in Paradiso. You didn't happen to go to the exact same show, didn't you?

It was a heck load of fun! But I sadly disliked the setlist a bit. Simone was simply amazing, really. Best performance so far... I even got one pick from Isaac, which he threw directly at me! You're seeing them in less than a week, huh? Enjoy yourself!

The new album's really got ahold of me! It's getting kinda obsessive. So you're gonna see them too? My show is coming in about 2 weeks ^^

Weeeelll... I loved Delirium. I Like Storm the Sorrow as well. Lots of songs are good or have really good parts, but then there's something that I don't like as much. I think I need to get used to it. It's not an easy album to listen to. Lyrics are amazing and strong as always. Musically speaking, I really think they've gotten stronger. But it really needs time in order to fully appreciate it. Oh! I liked Serenade of Self Destruction and Avalanche as well! So many opinions exchanged already, I'll add you. I hope you don't mind ;)

I already see some scrobblings from Requiem of the Indifferent here! Well I just got my CD so I'm gonna give it a listen right away! What are your final thoughts about the album?

Well I don't want to listen to the samples yet. I'm getting the album next week anyways, so I'll let myself dive into the unknown :D. So you listened to the whole album already? What's your fav Epica song?

You have to be one of the few people I know with such musical direction that says Nightwish is boring :D. But I find it interesting. Variety above everything! They've been my fav band for years now, I think they just fit with me as a person. The lyrics, the music... specially the newer stuff. About Epica's new Album.. I pre-ordered it, but I don't know what to expect. Better that way, I'll let myself fall into the unknown. I happened to hear "Storm The Sorrow", though. It was ok, I liked it. But it doesn't seem as amazing as most of the songs in DYU. My fav. Epica song HAS to be "Run for a fall" on it's acoustic version. Long post :D

I presume it has something to do with Anette? ;). I would seriously recommend you give a listen to their new Album, if you haven't. It's really nice! What do you expect from Epica's next album?
