Thanks very much! And well, I don't know Dead Can Dance *that* well, despite the high play count... the album I started with was 'Aion' as I loved this instrumental track on it called Saltarello... I've since moved on to their 'Within the Realm of a Dying Sun' album which is supposed to be their most realised body of work... I think... well, it certainly sounded like it to me :) Hope this helps!

Also, I bet he never did an installation or 'performance piece'. The er, 'best' bit of performance art I've seen (ie the one that made me laugh most) was stuck up on youtube. It was called 'Fountains' & involved this (ironic mysogyny here) bird appearing in different coloured floaty dresses and being gracefully ill in a colour to match. The best bit was the 'artist's statement' (can't say that without spitting mentally) where she said that she'd done this 'to show the beauty within'. Sweeeeet :)As a former art collage detainee I've got snarlingly low tolerance in this dept. Clientele album not great, really:( Pete D. Puppy dog eyes? Are you sure? 'Bird-related Band' - I really liked that, until I realised you weren't being dead Northern. She was a nice hairdresser, it was just this one issue that got sticky, but I managed to head her off by asking if she'd ever heard of The Clienetele....oddly, she hadn't. Oh, and by telling her that Pete Docherty couldn't be sexy, because he looked like a piece of cheese, melting. Altho' the haircut wasn't great. The Cranes are a bird-related band, but that seems more unlikely than the Swans. Also Morning Dove White - altho' they may be an album....No, I'll definitely turn up to watch you smash a computer and record it, so no need to be pre-emptively annoyed - but is that music or an Installation? Artistically speaking? :)

'dissertation' 'alcohol' and 'lazy' will do fine....alchohol/certain substances/ laziness certainly explain why I hadn't noticed you'd done a me - oh yeah, plus extreme hard work of course. Now I can't remember what you put, which is down to all of the above plus bad/good Placebo songs. I once had tickets to see Elvis(Costello) and forgot to go so missing the Southsea Festival was sooooo easy. Still pissed off tho'. It wasn't a real festival with tents and stuff, just a day given over to loads of Indie bands, some unsigned (bear that in mind btw it's on every yr & is dedicated to giving people a stage) at venues along one road in the city, which has a very high murder rate and a lot of drunks. Especially round here :)....My bro' isn't famous, he just used the computer, the famous one was the one who is Eeels....What are you doing with it? The computer? And music? Really interested in that....

Leave it out. I know it is. Urgh. Myspace. Long time ago. I'm certainly not looking forward to dissertation time. I have 3 pieces of coursework in, in a fortnight. Unfortunately, I have been giving most of my time to HMV so I have 8 full days out of 14 to start and complete it in, starting 12 hours ago. Its interesting though. Shouldnt complain. My own fault. I hope they play again next year! I've only seen them once, at V Festival. Nah I didn't see them in the end. It's pretty good that a lot of bands playing Leeds seem to play Heidelberg straight after or vice-versa! Gigs are a bit more expensive here though. And there's no Brudenell equivalent. :( That I know of anyway... Aw I hope you can come, last year was well fun! If you do, Matt and I are catching the train from Middlesbrough on NYE so you should catch the same one! :) xx

It wasn't 'last month' - L FM is lying about time as usual, tho' it might be a good idea to change my Song Of The Week. Anyway, as I was saying a few days ago- Leics.? I come from there, almost, only worse, Loughborough. The Leics accent is my favourite thing. Saaaad. But you'd only know how sad if you're from there too :) Acoustic shoegazing; I remembered, Secret Shine and someone called Morris did an acoustic version of 'Loveblind' and other tracks that were originally electric. Think it was alright. Couldn't you do it on a computer electronically, no band maybe? Don't know if you've got a band? My brother made/makes er, 'music' that way - oh yes, and the *succesful* bloke from Eels. I've been doing bugger all, frankly. Except work obsessively & avoid all human contact.
