Pretty much all the guests were there except Kiske...Ralf Scheepers took his spot on Absolution. I haven't heard a release date on the DVD though :(

Hey, Tribuzy's live album just leaked...sounds great! Now I just need the DVD =)

man, i have to think that our musical compatibility is very low.

TROLLHAMMERON

i love you twig

HAHAAH excellent addition. go to the pics tab on their profile and vote for the picture of them head banging so it can be the permanent picture! haha

yo check out the new revere profile i made. vote for the picture and profile to be permanent!

the new Symph X is great, as I knew it would be...it definitely continues in the heavier/darker direction of The Odyssey. I've only given it one listen, and like any of their albums, you need many listens to fully digest everything =)

Amazing, of course! It's too bad it came out so early in the year, as I doubt any other band will be able to top it!

Yep, it leaked a couple of days ago. :)

Oh, well, I hope you'll join our madness again soon.

hey, you're still alive! haven't seen ya for ages! Yeah, apparently the forum's down.. someone is planning to murder us poor bardists!! we neeeeeed the forum!

hah, yeah i figured that much

yeah, im skalds on the forum

damnn youu.. oh yeah, well im seeing sonata arctica in LA

Firewind's newest album is in my top 5 from last year...new vocalist is great. Haven't heard who they're touring with yet.

Yeah, Megadeth's new DVD is great...and I really dig Sleepwalker, by far the best of the United Abominations songs I've heard. I'd love to see them this year, but not as a support act or in Gigantour, I want another club tour like they did in 2004...that was an awesome show! BTW, Firewind is touring the US this September! \m/

I have no money =( But you're RIGHT! If I go to Germany and get to see THE show...I think I'd die of complete bliss!!!

Lucky!!! I'll be lucky if I get to go to ANY shows in the near future. :<

LOL, Hansi immitating a guitar! And don't worry, you didn't offend me at all with the Scat man thing. I just realized how negative my last post here looks...it wasn't supposed to! My apologies ^_^

Yeah, I don't find it that amusing, and I actually have some pretty unhappy memories with that song, but I still have it. It also makes me think of that WoW Funeral Raid...

Hey man! It's Corman! what's Up? (First time posting in your shoutbox!)

Long story about the scat man song, but I enjoy it every now and then.

Only that the vox were recorded in August or something. Haven't heard anything new since...

Yeah, I was obsessed with that project before it even came out! Two of my favorite singers on the same album? YES PLZ

Sieges Even are prog metal in the vein of Porcupine Tree. Nice, mellow stuff with interesting interactions between the instruments. Check out The Art of Navigating by the Stars.

... especially Parallel Minds and In Your Multitude

Hey dude, sorry for the late reply... I've been immersed in final projects/papers/compositions/studying to graduate. Eldritch is OK. Their vocalist annoys me, and their music is mediocre. Conception is an amazing prog metal band with Roy Khan, who now sings for Kamelot. The guitarist went on to form Ark (whose Burn the Sun album is BRILLIANT). Definitely check out Conception...

Definitely, Astronomy is one of my top five albums of last year. Have you heard the new debut album from Serenity? Austrian power/prog...Words Untold and Dreams Unlived is the album.

I have both soundstracks. ^_^

I couldn't agree more!

lol, you're right...I just checked the booklet, it is indeed Kiske that sounds like Sting :D

Crazy dream! However, any dream with BG is a good dream...though if they were mad at you, that would be sad!

Yeah, Matt posts regularly at the Symphony X forum as well. Are you sure that's Kiske at that part in the song...I know he does the intro, but...hmz

And what song is it? I like Gamma Ray but I missed it. What a shame!:D

hehe...I started listening to Gamma Ray because I wanted to hear the song that Hansi guest sang on. ^^'

Hansi = God.

Absolution rules...gotta ask ya, at about 4:30 of that song, Tribuzy reminds me of a metal version of Sting...am I nuts?

oh yeah, Rage...gotta get my hands on that Full Moon Over St. Petersburg DVD \m/ Speak Of The Dead was just a brilliant album

ah, ok...a bunch of us Realmers moved over to the Winterfell board...even though the band doesn't exist anymore ;) Dark Empire, nice...can't wait for the new album!

Yeah, I was a regular at the Iced Realm...what was your nick there? Damn, our musical compatibility rating is Super...lolz, highest I've seen yet =)

By the way, the title you gave me on that facebook group is perfect, and 100% accurate. If Hansi were a girl, I'd gladly go lesbian! Lol.

I see, new friend in this community.;) Sometimes I must listen Klaus Badelt again. But now I'm addicted to BG, hard to listen something else. You know.:D

Haha, indeed. I have a lot of BG...but who couldn't?

I've downloaded some albums of Domain. So if you want, leave me here your contact or write me.;)

In response to the which part of USA question you asked me, I'm from Wisconsin ^_^
