So I randomly checked out your profile and I love how the music we have in common includes Pig Destroyer, Jean Sibelius, Claude Debussy, John Cage and Erik Satie. Four classical composers and then a grindcore band. I think that's awesome. :-)

I struck lucky with the Koyaanisqatsi performance and picked up one when they put some extra on sale, have you managed to grab one? Not seen the film or heard the soundtrack before so hoping it will be a very special experience.

It's an portrait from 1901 of Albert Wolfe. I think he was an actor, but I couldn't find anything else about his life. The image was plucked http://mydaguerreotypeboyfriend.tumblr.com/page/19. I like to think he was my anachronistic alter ego. Lovely music by the way!

Hi there Lilith, good to hear from you. Thursday should be very special, three outstanding acts. I lend a hand with Arctic Circle (London based promoter) these days and they put on Nils Frahm a couple of years back...the first time I saw him...there's a recording of his whole set here http://soundcloud.com/arcticcircle/nils-frahm-live-at-st-giles-in Maybe see you on the night, I should be lurking around the front row I think!

“Often he could not have described exactly what he saw, heard, and felt, but he knew what it was. It could be very blurred; the visions came from outside, but a shimmer of observation told him at the same time that they were really something inside himself. The important thing was that it is not at all important whether something is inside or outside; in his condition, it was like clear water on both sides of a transparent sheet of glass.” ~Robert Musil, The Man Without Qualities * thank you

Thanks for the recommendation. I don't mind the cassic music, actually I love the natural sonds of the real piano or violin or any other instument. Classic just doesnt have that atmosphere, emotional state and temper I prefer, and the images my imagination is drawing, while listening to it, kinda mean nothing to me. No offence. By the way, what's the deal with the russian-speaking folks?

Oh I certainly do... Holst foremost, then probably Debussy, unless you count a couple modern movie composers. I knew you were familiar when I clicked on your myspace. I could've sworn I even talked to you. I searced my myspace messages and oh... THAT must be why you seemed familiar, because I did. Thanks for remembering me, and I'll check it out. If you'll notice, I have a bunch of classical in my recent tracks.
