as christmas rears its head around the corner, the jolly spirit of thousands of last.fmers is felt. snow touching the gravel around us, the smell of hot cocoa filling our nostrils, the decorative lights put out by dedicated neighbors, everything is almost perfect. yet it feels like something is missing. someone. sure we can get a lot of things for christmas. last.fm pro, 1,000 scrobbles on our artist of choice, the deletion of botters/1 track spammers, etc. but, i don't think any of us want that. we want you, CtrlMarc. but for now, seeing you scrobble, watching your taste flourish is more than watching your scrobble count go up, it lets us know that CtrlMarc, el gato, my friend is out there living his life. how your life is truly going i don't know, and i am okay with that. as much as i would love to see you scrobble again, what i want for christmas is to know that you are living your life, taking it one day at a time. it's safe to say christmas came early.
